    Hi,
Think this it's a analog issue (not able to update digital rig before tomorrow since it uses RC1 & not RC2) & both single/multi seat issue.

    1. Start MP -> MyTV Home -> Select a channel & start watching (TV Server now has 1 card in use for timeshift)
    2. Start manual rec until stopped (TV Server now shows 1 card timeshifting & 1(the same as the other) timeshifting for scheduler)
    3. Stop tv with b(in MP Home or TV Home) (TV Server still shows both cards timeshifing)
    4. Stop rec (Still shows both cards timehifting) & if i use button active recs, it's says no active recordings going on.

    Regards
    Roy

I can confirm this problem, it's been there since SVN 19453 and i have described a common scenario in https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/untested-mediaportal-tv-server-1-0-rc1-svn-builds-281/mediaportal-svn-snapshot-06-22-2008-17-10h-revision-19453-rar-41404/index4.html#post278370 and it's easily to reproduce. It always happend when i watch & record or try to watch a current recording. For the dev info, i'have only 1 analog PVR350.

    Scenario in the attached log is the following;

    - Start MP
    - Watch a channel
    - Start recording this channel
    - Stop recording
    - TV off in TV home
    - TV on --> unable to start timeshift, no free card.

Other scenario is as described in the link of the earlier post.

    - TV service is recording
    - Start MP
    - Trying to watch the current recording from live point --> unable to start timeshift, no free card

Hopefully its fixed by issue: 0001475 in next SVN.
If the devs need more information or testing, i'll be there.

    Best regards, Pe2RM

Hello further to above posts... TV-server continues to time shift even after MediaPortal is closed on a single seat installation. This only started to occur when I grouped the individual tuners of my two Hauppauge HVR-3000 cards using the hybrid card part of TV-Server configuration. When I went back by removing the grouping as hybrid cards the problem went away.

Just installed latest SVNs, on both the stanalone HTPC (with TVServer on) and a network client. The network client now works fine but the machine with TVServer on still has the same fault. Maybe this is useful information?!!

Here are the steps I did to reproduce this error.... The HTPC has TVServer and MP on, this is the one with the error. The Laptop is an MP client, I just used that to stop the recording, as it all works fine on that!

    HTPC: StartMP
    HTPC: MyTV, TV On
    HTPC: Record Now, Manual Stop
HTPC. Stop Record - NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!
Laptop: Start MP - Record Icon is displayed
Laptop: My TV, Record Now, Manual Stop...Nothing Changes
Laptop: Stop Record - Recording Stops, Recording Icon disappears in both Laptop and HTPC

    |The other way I can stop the recording is to restart the TVService, of course. I just used the laptop to prove the laptop can control TVServer just fine, but MP on the same Machine as TVServer has problems. The spec above is for the HTPC. The spec for the laptop is:

    HP Pavillion dv1588ea
    Intel Centrino 1.8Ghz
    1Gb RAM
    Windows XP SP3
    No extra Hardware

    Logs are attached from HTPC.
Hope thats enough info for you, just give me a shout if not. I'm off work today and tomorrow so if you need me to test anything guve me a shout! :)
