Add new features for 'Recordings' on BasicHome (1 Viewer)

Hey ltfearme, maybe you can add this great feature to the basic home... (Thanks to LatestMediaHandler, that give us this feature)

• new skin properties for showing active tv recordings (title, start time, channel...)
• new skin properties for showing next three scheduled recordings (title, start time, channel...)

Ok, maybe other way round: Anyone give me a pointer how to start a mod for Basichome? I am willing to work on this, but don't really see how to do it.

My idea so far:
1. Create BasicHome.UpcomingRecordings.xml
2. Insert <import>BasicHome.UpcomingRecordings.xml</import> into BasicHome.xml

Would that be correct so far?

And if so, how to fill the BasicHome.UpcomingRecordings.xml? Is there a skinning guide somewhere?

Yes this would be correct.
Parameters for skinning you will find in the Latest Media Handler wiki.

Guess its too complicated for me. Just made a short attempt but havent seen any changes in Basic Home. Maybe StreamedMP is too complex for a newbie in skinning like me...guess waiting for a talented guy is better for me

Ok, first attempt attached. This is only for homescreen of MyTv and is configured to be vertical summary #2 (below recordings summary). Be aware to import this file in your BasicHome.xml!

Oh and yes...its pretty simple and quick and dirty...e.g. hardcoded the title for the summary.

Worked on it a bit and have a version for BasicHome always centered top. Anyone give me pointer how to set it up that its not shown on weather overlay in BasicHome? Must be something in the <visible>-tag, but with !control.isvisible(7977) it doesnt work here. What am I doing wrong?

Where do I have to insert the import file in the basichome.xml. For me it works only if I chose the plugins item of the menue. So I think I insert it the import line on the wrong place.
