AW: All recordings fail with RC1

Hello Morpheus,

I copied the three files into my folder "C:\Programme\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server", replacing the three previous ones.

After booting I cannot start the TVservice. Did I miss something trivial? (Ich stehe auf dem Schlauch)

Try this binary instead. Do not use the rest of the binaries from Morpheus' patch.

This is the same patch built against RC1.

Seems to have fixed the recordings on my test machine. Can't install it on the main one at the moment as that's busy recording TV.

Live TV is still failing though.

Live TV failing seems to be a different issue. Please start a new thread for that and provide clean logs.

I don't really watch live TV through MP, but thought I'd mention it as someone asked the question earlier in this thread.

Thanks for the fix anyway :)

I'll get some logs a bit later and post a new thread.

AW: All recordings fail with RC1

Hello,

started testing the new patch. The first impression is good - Timeshift and recording seem to work:

2010-03-28 17:29:06.830141 [(4)]: PID seen - type = Video
2010-03-28 17:29:06.892644 [(4)]: Recorder audioVideoEventHandler Video
2010-03-28 17:29:06.986400 [(12)]: card: WaitForRecordingFile - video and audio are seen after 0,3750216 seconds

:D for the quick response!

Hi,

just did two recordings without a cold restart before the recordings (that was my solution to fix this): both recordings went fine, live TV as well.
What I still noticed while testing the live TV is that when switching channels I sometimes get the message 'scrambled' but then by reselecting the channel it does work again: anyway, this does not seem related to the patch.

Will do some more testing this evening.
Thanks for following up.

regards,
Ruud.

20100331: running stable for 4 days now, done several recordings and feel confident to not reboot the PC before new recordings start!
