    Same problem here

    Hello Community, hello Dev-Team!

    1. After watching a movie or listening music "My TV" crashes MP. I have to stop tV-Service in the Taskmanager, then i can shut down MP! (it takes about 3-5 minutes)! Before shot down TV-Service, Preview in "SetupTv.exe" doesn't work!

    2. Last night a schedule recording doesn't work. At last i listened to music!

    Please help!

    Regards
    Helios

    Hi disaster123,

MP will get the EPG while timeshifting (if you turned this on), means when you watch the tuned tv channel MP get the EPG from the DVB-Stream.

Till the devs did not fix that issue we must live with that.

    Hi 2BitSculptor,

did you turn off the EPG grabber while idle "feature" ?

If no then turn it off and all will be good.

I did as you suggested, but it had no effect. I still have to make multiple attempts for the channel to change.

I know I can manually start a recording once I am on a channel, but I haven't tested it yet with setting future recording.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. :)

Okay... I just scheduled 2 one hour programs to record, back-to-back, on two different channels, with a 10 minute overlap.

    - Server stopped the timeshifting (displayed message) on Ch.6 to start the 1st recording on Ch.4.
    - an hour later Ch.12 began recording (Ch.6 stopped automatically because of the channel conflict).
    - Ch.4 stopped recording on schedule.
    - Ch.12 stopped recording on schedule.

Both programs recorded without issue and played back fine.

Why are the channel changes working correctly for recordings and not for Live TV?

    Chuck
