Hi Zebons,
sorry for the misleading bugreport about mediainfo - I have rechecked and you are right, it was analyzed properly - no idea how I got the wring result - possibly launched a wring version from other directory.
Sorry again.
The previous version had a BUG as it wasn't able to update Movies for renaming files. So If you had a movie and change the filename, it created each time a new entry and it was a mistake.
So now after finding the Movie name with Internet search it try to update an existing movie if it exists. If not, it create then a new entry.
You use for your particular need that bug but it's not a right idea. You should try to use the group name folder to your movie so it should not update the existing entry as the folder name an then the movie name should be distinct (to be tested).
In anycase the actual process will be change for your particular needing. :sorry:
Ok, I understood - will do some testing if this suggestion works.
But I think it would be also good solution evrn if keeping the logic you mentioned for updating movies by title, to check if the current source doesn't point to an existing file and only update the older record, if no existing file is there.
Anyway, if your suggestion works, I would be fine with that, I'll check that later...
Hi, anybody has updated xml script for the updater?
I've tried to use the one for imdb but it's poor in information and doesn't download any picture.
The italian one (yahoo) doesn't work anymore either.
Any information even on how to build/create a new xml from scratch??
Thanx G.
Thanks Guzzi!
It would be great if you can publish it here!
I'm not really fond of websitesourcecode... but I'm a programmer... so it could be helpfull for me
Thanks, G.

ok, I will open a new thread for that - I played a bit with it - it's not really "foolproof" and obviously does not catch all exceptions etc. (so you should save inbewteen when you're working with it) - but seems to work, although I didn't fully test yet due to time...
