One issue I have is with Music - the List is not loading and keeps crashing - where are the Logs to search for a Problem?

• Maybe this is a feature request: when I use the 'Beam to phone' option (which is awesome, nice work!!), would it be possible to resume the video on the PC on the point where I stop playing it on my phone? For example: I start beaming to my phone at 1m33s. The phone stream starts playing at 1m33s, and I go outside for a walk or something. When I return, the phone is at 15m52s, but the PC is still on 1m33s. It would be nice if the PC could resume where the phone left off, just as it's the other way around.

What are the chances of this being implemented? I think it would be a key feature for the app if this could be made possible.

How many "key features" are there? Seems to be there are different ones for everyone...

Anyways, why can't you just select "Menu -> Beam to PC" on the mobile? that will start playback of the movie from 15m52s in your example... Automatically keeping MediaPortal "in sync" with the phone has a few issues:
a) what if your wife/gf/... wants to continue watching on the pc while you go for a walk
b) you'll probably use the connection to wifiremote when you leave the house

I might add a dialog box at some point (not really a priority tbh) with different options:
When beaming video to phone:
a) Continue playback on pc
b) Pause playback on pc
c) Stop playback on pc
d) Keep player in sync on both devices

Just bought the pro version and I'm very happy. My only complaint/bug report is that aMPdroid doesn't display all of my current music in the music tab. Albums I added today are not showing up. Any reason?

Sounds like a problem with MpExtended... Can you check if the music shows up in this link: http://127.0.0.1:4322/MPExtended/MediaAccessService/json/GetAllMusicAlbumsBasic

I tested your link and I see all records on file "GetRecordings". I attached a file.
Next problem is with landscape mode on my GalaxyS. Logo Mediaportal overlaps on button STOP/Pause/next/prev. Please look to *png file screenshot.

Yeah I'm aware of the logo problem...

Regarding your recording: Please create a new thread where you attach all relevant infos + logs from your phone when you try to open recordings...

Yes, but the shares in question should be accessible to "Everyone" (also Guests), so Credentials are not required, in theory at least. But I'll definitely play around with it again on the weekend.

"Local System" isn't really a proper user account. So it wouldn't come under "everyone" because it's "no one". I think I just made that up but the local system permission doesn't allow a service to initiate network connections to my knowledge (kind of implied in the name). The "Network Service" account may allow it to work but I'm just guessing there. I didn't try that - I had it run under a user account credentials.

I guarantee this will solve the problem for you when you try again on the weekend. Or your money back.

Btw. just wanted to report that it worked
