Update: I just downloaded/updated aMPed SVN version and checked what happens when USB flashdrive plugs in - yes, there are USB icons now, see picture attached:

what is wrong here? using the latest svn and the new myfilms 4.9. same bug with my showtimes...

aMped does not support MyFilms 4.9 yet as it requires new skin files. If you are following that thread, it is still changing daily, and has not even been submitted to MP downloads yet. So I call it a beta release

Same bug with Showtimes? What Version? Screenshot? Did you update Showtimes or something? Anyway, you are doing better than me. I cannot even get Showtimes to run using Win7 and MP 1.1.0 RC1!

NP Eyepop. I am looking forward to My Films 4.9.0 a lot! So as soon as it seems ready, I will skin it. I will report here when it's ready for testing for you!

Out of curiosity, are you saying that installing My Films 4.9 is what caused your problems in Showtimes? If so, that is a pretty important issue imo, and you should report it so one of the plugin developers can sort it out.

no panic. i think it was my fault because i installed showtimes manually from an old mp-backup...

Hi there,

Just a quick question, when using bluetwo and myvideos, you will notice near the bottom of the page in list view (not sure about the other views), there are 2 buttons for selecting page up and page down looks some thing like:-

1/64 /\ | \/

Meaning page 1 of 64 up page | down page

When using MoPi, This does not appear. I like it cos i only use a keyboard and mouse, scrolling with the mouse wheel is painfully slow when you are scrolling through 680 movies. I can use the page up/page down keys on the keyboard but i prefer to use the mouse wherever possible. Also, The end key will take me to the end of the movie list, but the home key takes me to the initial MP Menu.
Is this an issue for anyone else, should it be appearing??? Just thought I would throw this out there!! Thanks heaps.

Hi kcpent - yeah we made a design decision in aMPed not to include those up/down arrows (called spincontrols) for several reasons. However, this does make navigation more difficult for users using only a mouse. If your mouse is 'programmable' you could set a key to page up/down, or increase the # of lines it scrolls. Not ideal I know.

I use MP both on my TV with a remote and on my computer with the keyboard because I find it more precise than the mouse.

In both MovingPictures and TVSeries the Home key returns to the Home screen and I also find it annoying. Normally in MP the Home key goes to the top of the list, so I do not know why those plugins chose to make it go back to the Home screen, especially since you can use a remote button or H key on the keyboard to do that. But that is something you will have to ask the plugin developers! I am sure they had a good reason

Thanks for all the hard work....wel worthwhile as skin is looking great and should make menus much more logical and attractive.

Only thing about it that is really annoying me is that when im in Amphed config and editing Amphed Layout I am still a bit limited in what and how I can add items.

For instance I cant seem to get My Pictures out of a settings menu. And I cant add my lyrics plugin to my music menu as its not listed in the drop down menu (as arent a few others). My games i actually play and use are stuck in a sub sub menu and games i dont play are in a higher tier. Also are we limited to 6 entrys in a menu?

I have grasped the basics of the editing process and hit the advanced button - and it is great to edit what i can but its still left my menus clunky and the girlfriend is totally lost with them which is gioving me a sore ear.

Any advice anyone? or is this something that is likely to improve in the next version?

Hi, I have not done a lot of editing of menus, but am not sure what you are trying to edit. If you use the default revamped Basic Home Menu then all you have to do is right click on Music and you get a whole music sub menu that should already have Lyrics on it. Just click ok on it and there it should be. In general use however, once you have got a a song playing if you just left click then Lyrics is available to you from there anyway, I rarely want to bring it up via Basic Home/ Music sub menu anyway.
