DieBagger I have question for you...How can I check a streaming function on PC/laptop?? Maybe I have problem with LAN configuration/firewall etc...

Start a tv channel from the tv-server config (Manual Control -> Start Timeshift) and then look into your streaming server log (C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log) There should be an entrly like

Stream server: url for stream is rtsp://10.1.0.166/stream2.0

Open this url in vlc to see if rtsp streaming is working (You can also manually enter the url in vPlayer).

    Hi DieBagger,

music doesnt work for me. if i press on Artist or Album then ampdroid crash.

if i try to open this link "http://localhost:44321/GmaWebService...sort=0&order=0" i get a empty website.
all other test links work fine for me only the music not.

You have something to fix for me?

    regards

Update: Streaming works (some dropouts but still usable) on my HTC Gratia using Moboplayer. Had to install alternative player since vplayer seems to be gone from market - at least for my model of phone.

Edit: Streaming only kind of works :) Moboplayer plays stream from the point timeshift was initiated until the time user chooses to play locally. After reaching end it closes and returns to ampdroid.

    Hi,

    very, very nice App.
    But I have one Problem:
The Video Overview shows me just one entry and this one is reapeted many times (about 50, maybe the total amount of my videos, i'm not sure).
Whats wrong? My MP-Installation is just Default as the aMPdroid Installation (The Default config matches). Can you help me?

    Kind Regards
    hookx

    EDIT:
    An additional question:
Is Streaming only possible with the VPlayer or are there some free alternatives?

I've updated the urls in the second post (sort and order parameters are mandatory in the new version...

Ah, thank you :). The GetAllVideos link works, however, it only returns a string with "[]" in it and nothing else. The VideoDatabaseV5.db3 definitely has some data in it. In MediaPortal configuration, I have simply added one local folder to the Video Folder list, with the videos I would like to watch via MediaPortal. Or do I have to set it up differently?

How did you even manage to open MoboPlayer for tv playback? Here I can only choose vPlayer for playback.

This is a Gma problem, please post your problem in the gma thread!

The videos tab contains the items of the MediaPortal videos database view. You need a db scan first. Also please post Gma related questions in the gma thread.

I don't know of any, maybe the upcoming vlc for android...

    Troubleshooting

Please read the troubleshooting wiki section before asking questions (feel free to add new information to the page). Also if you have a problem first check if the test urls return proper data and if not -> post your problem in the GmaWebservice thread.

Not yet, but anyone is free to write one in the wiki... ;)

All you need is vPlayer installed, but the app has a few bugs as it seems... Once vlc is out I will look into integrating it as an internal player.
