The videos tab contains the items of the MediaPortal videos database view. You need a db scan first. Also please post Gma related questions in the gma thread.

Oh I see. I am not using the Video Database at all that way. Seems to be very cumbersome, without any additional plugins. I am not sure if this is a GMA related question then: would it be possible to add the ability to browse through the video folders as well? (Like the other Android Remote.)

I found a solution about streaming working. In tv server->streaming I change a options from auto mode to my server IP address. Now working but without audio...only video... I don't known why.

Hey Guys. On request of Diebagger i've made a short video of the app running on an Utopia APAD IMX5151 (8 inch poor man's Ipad). It's not the best quality of video, but i hope it gives you an impression on how it runs on a tablet.

Must admit, that there are some things in the app that are not 100% inuitiv right. For instance: when i go to music and brows my musicfiles, i just feel the urge of just tapping the file i want to hear, instead of having to do a longpress and select "play on PC" or "play local". More intuitiv would be a pop-upscreen with the 2 choices.
When starting a movie and switching to the remotecontrol-section it would be better to add a STOP button instead of having to push the "more"-button and select STOP. Selecting subtitles under "more"doesn't work: i have to press "menu"and then onscreen select "subtitles" and the right subs.

DieBagger: would it be possible to make the icons on the homescreen autoscalable, so they will show-up bigger? Goes for the remote navigation buttons (updownleftright) also. They are too small on a tablet (yeah, i know, it is intentionaly written for use on a small(er) phone-screen.

when i start the app it connects correctly and wifi remote works.
however when i hit in any button (except the remote) it says no connection to tv server even if i hit in video button, or music one. any idea?

Ah. Are you using the video database at all in Media Portal or just the Video folders?

I get the message "no connection to the service". So I think my problem is to establish a connection from my mobile to the service and not the access from the service to the databases

I think that error also comes up, if nothing is returned by GMA. What's the output of the video test link? Is it just "[]"?

music doesnt work for me. if i press on Artist or Album then ampdroid crash.

if i try to open this link "http://localhost:44321/GmaWebService...sort=0&order=0" i get a empty website.
all other test links work fine for me only the music not.

You have something to fix for me?
