Excellent! I was able to set up aMPdroid on the phone and server. I had to change user/password to admin/admin regardless what the wifi remote configuration said.

I was able to set up a TV recording from the phone. Great!

And now one feature request to TV recordings: possibility to select the type of scheduling (single, every week, always from this channel, always from all channels), amount of episodes (default 'all'), and when to delete (default 'until no space left').

Where can I find these log files? I've looked in the GMA install directory and the MP logs directory and couldn't find them.
Same for Ampdroid, looked in the Ampdroid directory in my SD card and found no log files (or any files).

Hi there,

I keep getting issues with getting Amproid running on my device. Sometimes just the remote works, but cant obtain the movie/video list. And other times movie and TV selecting works, but then the remote does not work. I had Ampdroid succesfully running a few times, but that was just for a few minutes. Then the connection got lost.

I opened the following ports to my local IP address: 4321; 1433; 1434; 3306; 1723; 43; 44321; 8017

When I am opening the test URL: http://localhost:4321/GmaWebService/MediaAccessService/json/GetServiceDescription I get asked for an login and password and after that it opens an GetServiceDescription file.

Am I missing something here?

would it be ok to make a german support thread also?

i have a problem with all none htc devices. the internal player doesnt play any stream. i have tested it with a samsung galaxy tab , a china tab with android 2.33 , htc desire , htc desire hd and a google nexus s.

only the htc devices worked

Feature requests go here: General forum / aMPdroid . It's next to impossible to keep track of them in the forum.

Everyone having trouble with the connection, try to disable the "Automatic Reconnect" feature. If that doesn't help, post your android logfiles (logcat, search market for tools to extract them from phone).

I'm using MediaPortal 1.1.3 btw

Make sure that:

• You have actually scanned your music folders (you can view artists/albums in MediaPortal)
• GmaWebservice config is linking to the right music db (Gma folder -> config.xml)
• The testlinks for artists and albums return data -> Troubleshooting - MediaPortal Wiki

Yeah, that's a known "problem". Oxan has already implemented code in the next version that will auto-detect what db to use (and hopefully 1.1 will not be around that much longer).

Can you post logcat files for the devices where it doesn't work?
