Have anyone tried this DVB-C TV Card (Anysee E7 TC) with MediaPortal ?
Does it work fine ?

Thank you for your answers.

And what about the Technotrend CT 3650 ?
I've seen somme people experienced many problems with it.
Have all of them been solved now ?

Hi Laurent

I have a Anysee E7 T2C running with mediaportal. It's working quite nice until now.
Problem is that it has a CI+ interface so I can't watch encrypted channels, but unencrypted channels both HD (T2) and SD channels is fine.
Waiting for someone to find a solution for CI+ with MP because I wouldn't like to revert to Windows Media Center.

Kind regards

Ulf

Hello,
I have seen this card could be supported by DVBLink (with the last release) which works with Mediapotal.
It could be a solution to your problem.

The only changes I see are: Updated Marcel Groothuis version of the plugin to now support Media Portal 2.5 I can't say anything about the functionality of this plugin, I don't use TV Part, but if there are any changes that can be simply transferred, then I can try. But I can't give any guarantees.

I also have never used a set-top box with MP, but I think that you need to use an IR emitter (aka "IR blaster"). The IRSS software controls the emitter, and transmits IR signals under the direction of MP. The IR signal is received by the IR receiver within the set-top box, and so can be used to change channel and so on. The set-top...
