Not sure without logs but make sure ur config is set to basic home only for now as quick settings only works with basic home not classic.
I answered the bit about update a few posts back and its also in the wiki

Solved, my fault. Deinstalled, new install, everything works fine.

Saving the settings is also in the wiki, you need to backup the skinsettings.xml then copy any new settings into it before restoring it back.

Am I just missing something or does the skin not show duration of tv series episodes?

Also, I'm getting episode info scrolling on main page even though I've turned off spoilers in the tv series plugin.
