If you launch the process you can track its process ID in media portal, so if a user presses the 'big green button' equivalent you could check to see if any processes are running and kill them if the settings allow kill process on return to media portal as an option.

You should be able to see if MP is the current active process with focus by getting its ID and tracking that on a background thread or on a From.OnFocus event or the like (Assuming there is this in MP2 somewhere.)

Nice. A List with all started Apps (Ids). I like it.

Another suggestion: Stop media if app is launched (just a checkbox addition).

This is possible by accessing playermanager service, if there are active players simply stop them
