Hi again
That doesn't make sense to me. The purpose of scanning is to find channels. The fact that it says strength 0 and quality 0 and no channels found is a sign that *scanning is working*. It is normal. All it means is that there are no channels on the frequency that you're scanning, not that your card isn't receiving signal at all. Like I said, select a QAM standard and then click scan for channels. Let TV Server check *all* the frequencies (ie. don't click "cancel"). If no channels are found on all frequencies then try the next standard. Again, let TV Server check all the frequencies. It may be a matter of taking some time with a touch of trial and error, but your patience should be rewarded.
If you're saying that you've done what I've suggested above then give me some time to contact Migue (our resident North American). Hopefully he will be able to set you straight...
the problem i am having is there is no signal coming from my card at all for it to scan. I have tried every configuration i can find and nothing ever gets a signal to come from the card to the program so i can start the scan
