I wrote a simple plug-In for ATI remote wonder.

It will send keyboard command to the main MP window when it's active.

Mapped key

menu: y
resize: x
play: p
stop: b
pause: space
fastforward: f6
rewind: f5
channel up: pageUp
channle down: pageDown

If anybody is interested, response here and I'll send it to you.

hi there !
i'm very interested in this ! Same remark as oxfrombws... this would be nice if it is configurable.
Should be better if you submit your code to the project manager.

I hope I did not mislead you guys. This is a plug-in for the ATI remote wonder software. This is not an input plug-in which you install in MP.

If you are using ATI remote wonder software (not girder)
and would like to control MP w/o tweaking with "Key Factory" configuration,
then this PlugIn could be the answer for you.

The current function is rather limited. I only mapped (hard coded) a few buttons on the remote in the current release. When the MP windows is in focus, and one of the mapped remote buttons is depressed, the plug-In sends the mapped key to the MP main window.

What it also gives you is the ability to assign program keys ("a"-"f") to the remote when this plug-in is in focus (i.e. MP is in focus). This way, you an assign MP specific mapping for the programming buttons on the remote.

button: key stroke send to MP
---------------------------------------------
menu: y
resize: x
play: p
stop: b
pause: space
fastforward: f6
rewind: f5
channel up: pageUp
channle down: pageDown

What I have planned

=> Scan the keymap.xml for the list of key mapping.
=> Configuration GUI for this plug-in to allow customization of button to key mapping.

=> If possible, different key mapping based on different foreground "form" (My TV or My Radio).

I am waiting for my ATI Remote Wonder II to arrive in two weeks.
Gave away my old version last weekend. So, the development has to wait till the new remote is here.

I think they are the same as far as the software and plug-in is concerned.
