It's on every playback stop command but if you choose an static color when playback is stopped from the Mediaportal it will keep it open (might be bug now that I think about it :p ) , also another problem in keeping the connection open is that the Hue bridge connection is global meaning even other Hue devices (bulbs etc..) which you don't use for the live view wouldn't be able to receive commands from other apps

But need to test this a bit more thoroughly as last time I tested this was a while back and the code has changed a bit since then.

Still a bit mixed experience with Hue solution, on the one hand it's good enough for home lighting but on the other it still feels a bit rough around the edges and just doesn't work as nice yet (even without using it for live view).

Hue Bridge or the API we're using at the moment, the initial start-up is slow on the apps as well so most likely the Hue Bridge.
Gonna see if I can do a keep-alive connection to the Hue Bridge without it locking up , this might make it a bit faster unless it's something internally in the Hue Bridge like syncing lamps before the color command for instance.

Never had this before so could be a single event - it'smore as info. - When I think about it - it is possible that I have forgotten to disable the Debug Logging ... but I couldn't check as the Program was closed when I OK the error

Yeah most likely its the debug log as it doesn't clear its entries, you might have an pretty large debug.log as a result as well.
Let me know if you can reproduce this error and if so please attach the debug.log so I can check what it was doing before the crash :)

Having an strange delay with my AtmoHue test version, not exactly sure if my Hue Bridge is messed up or there's some local interference but there's about an 500ms added delay.
Do notice this as well in the current release version but slightly less (could be random at times so not 100% sure), anyone else having any noticeable extra delay compared to previous versions?

I noticed the lights don't go off anymore when I put my htpc in standby.

I'm using atmohue version 0.8 and atmolight 1.15.0.0. Atmohue is configed to let atmolight handle power events for bridge. In atmolight "turn hue bridge off while in standby" is checked.

This has worked fine before. Maybe it has to do with the newer atmolight 1.15 released through the plugin manager.

    A fix is appreciated.
