Color tests should have reported success or failure in logs but neither of those are logged which is strange, reverted back to an older version of Q42 just in case something is off with it.
According to the logs it did seem to work about right except when the playback stopped it should have displayed another message, do you have both Theater mode settings (enable / restore led) in AtmoHue enabled?
On initial start of Mediaportal we have a global setting that disables the leds for all devices which is send black in the case of Hue, disabled that for now for Hue so when starting Mediaportal the lights should stay on.
Attached new versions for testing
It looks like somehow AtmoLight isn't sending the stop command the second time only not sure why
Attached new versions with some debug logging and potential fix for color test, if you could attach the MediaPortal.log as well after testing that would be great.
Great succes ..... It shuts down the lights and then starts them up afterwards Now i just have to get them to show the the brightness i want, it seems they light back up a little dimmer than what i can get with my app ... Big thanx
Edit:
I got the brightness to work, but i can't get it send colours thru testing... RGB: 254 254 254 and that doesen't change..
Hmm .. I closed down MP and restarted and then it did not work ... I cannot use the set livegroup, "blue Button" menu to turn on the hue lights I quess i was a little too fast to celebrate it
Gonna get the bridge + lamp out of the living room to see why the color tests aren't working, fixed brightness and corrected log messages a bit in the below version
So the blue button to bring up the AtmoLight context menu wasn't working when you restarted Mediaportal?
Do notice an AmbiBox error about it not being able to connect but that shouldn't have conflicted with Hue.
The Blue Button works a treat... Just the hue part doesen't do anything... The Ambibox error has been there all along, seems the local host has a problem connecting... Sometimes Ambibox stop working as you know, but the error is there all along.
If i tick off the debug log settings in AtmoHue and close it, it doesen't stay ticked of, is that normal??
Old bug but it now remembers both log options during AtmoHue restarts so will include that in the next version , think something is broken with Hue color commands even though I haven't touched that since last year so maybe something changed in the Philips firmware but will test that with the Bridge over here.
