Attached new beta build in the first post, it has the latest library and some small bug fixes which weren't in the 0.87 version.
Had to restart the bridge and afterwards it connected fine again here, seems after the Hue bridge update it just hanged but oh well there's always AtmoOrb

Hi, first time in this thread although been using MP for a fair while. Problem is Ambilight keeps crashing mepo when i start live tv or videos for some reason but error log is blank. I've managed to get Atmohue connected and running, tests respond correctly to the colours. All setup as per your setup, any suggestions?

Hi,

Best to change the log verbosity to debug in the Mediaportal configuration and attach the logs after the crash occurs, that makes it easier to see where it goes wrong
Also does Mediaportal still crash if you disable the AtmoLight plugin?

If I'm reading the logs right it looks you're running Mediaportal 1.9, is that correct?

Because for AtmoLight 1.17 you need Mediaportal 1.12 or higher
Logs looks clean otherwise, it connects but what is probably happening is that the hooks AtmoLight expects aren't there and crashes although would have expected it to log that.
Thought we added Mediaportal version checks in the AtmoLight installer but will double check that.

Yes that's correct mepo is v1.9, is there a version of atmolight that I can run with v1.9 as I prefer to be a version or 2 behind for stability across my setup? (Server + 5 clients + wife acceptance factor!)

AtmoLight 1.16.100 and up requires Mediaportal 1.12 so can use the version before that, this combination might work:

AtmoLight 1.16.0.0
AtmoHue 0.0.87

With large TV setups like that it's understandable that you don't want to upgrade on every new release
Make sure to re-open the AtmoLight configuration after downgrading and check the settings as some stuff might not have migrated back.

Nice one Rick, worked a treat, unfortunately the theatre function appears to be the more recent addition but I guess you can't have everything!
