Hello again - after over one year I think it's afe to assume that teh plugin was dropped - and as always - any chance to get a running version? Ambilight (in my case the Atmoorb part - for the normal Ambilight I can use Ambibox native) is one of the things I miss with MP2 - when you one time had it you don't want to loose it ...

Just not a lot of free time between other projects and work sadly, switched to PlexKodiConnect here as well and using HDMI grabber (HDFury in between) for all devices so don't need any additional software processing except Hyperion sending the data to LEDs.
AtmoLight 1 we made pretty feature complete with no outstanding issues, not sure if MP2's core parts are still in flux (mainly the rendering parts) but if they have settled down on those it should be easier for us to pick up and improve.

THX for your answer - from the consumer point of view the biggest issue are missing plugins - but that's also with MP1 as a lot of plugin dev's have left meanwhile. But happy to hear that the project is not totally abandoned :)

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
