I've been testing and testing Atmolight/Atmowin combinations for the past weeks, and i'm not sure if the current AtmoWin code for saving the Channel Assignments for every profile is the right approach. This way i need to copy every channel assignment to every profile in the XML while, which just fills the XML with duplicate info. If i don't do this, i don't have every channel assignment available per profile.
I prefer to have the option to switch profiles, and individually (from whatever profile i have selected) be able to select every channel assignment I've saved.
So i think the change needed would be to save the channel assignments to it's own 'section' (and maybe it was that way from that start...)

Would this be possible? (i hope you understand, if not i'll try it in German)

that Problem is then ...
if has a Profile 8 LEDs then you can not assigmend channel more then 8 or?
what your do Change from a Profile more then hundert leds to a Profile with 8 leds?
your think that work then ?

Wow! I didn't even know that was possible, but that's a valid reason to keep it like this indeed!
Just tried this on the HTPC, and indeed, the Device Settings are also saved for every individual profile. Nice!

Then i think we should leave it 'as is' for now

that has nothing to do with AtmoWin..

and AtmoWin has nothing to do with Atmolight-Plugin
also is any wrong then should be fixed in Atmolight-Plugin.

Isnt a AtmoLight problem. Change profile works with 1.0.0.4, but doesnt in 1.0.0.5.
You commented the code at this commit:
