my Problem is the alleged memory leak.

I don't expect the memory leak to be caused by AtmoWin (because i've seen 400mb RAM usage without AtmoLight enabled (so no AtmoWin was started)). i DO suspect the freeze on LiveTV & Webradio (after 1hour++ playback here) caused by AtmoWin.
Just tested latest TsReader and rolled back AtmoWin to 1.0.0.2 and still got it. Will test 1.0.0.1 next.
If only we had some proper (debug) logging for AtmoWin, i assume i would have pinpointed the issue already

I tested it on Win7 with some recorded tv shows and some movie files but i can test it again on win 8

I would be really happy if you could test AtmoWin with LiveTV, and let LiveTV run for at least 1 hour, and then press STOP. I always have a freezing MP and curious if you have the same! Before i press STOP, everything is running as expected and everything responds as it should.

Ich glaube hier wird einiges verwechselt.
Warum sprichst du immer von AtmoWin ?
AtmoWin hat überhaut nichts mit MP zu tun und kommuniziert in keiner weise damit.
Es verursacht weder Speicherlecks noch irgendwelche abstürze in MP.
Wenn überhaupt dann mußt du im AtmoLight Plugin suchen.
Das ist die Schnittstelle zwischen MP und AtmoWIn.

I think here is a lot confused.
Why are you talking about AtmoWin?
AtmoWin has skin over nothing with MP to do and communicates in any way thereby.
It caused memory leaks, nor any crashes in MP.
If anything then, look in the AtmoLight plugin.
This is the interface between MP and AtmoWIn.

Atmolight steuert nur AtmoWin an. Wenn ich Atmolight aus schalt, dan is das problem weg, weil AtmoWin dan nicht gestarted wird mit MP.
So... ohne AtmoWin started, kein problem. Mit atmowin started ein freeze problem.
Kan nur atmowin sein hatte ich gedacht...

I own my ambilight now for ~2,5 years and i never could track back such problems to atmowin or atmolight plugin but i will do some more tests with the newer versions. Currently i dont have tv card installed but i bought a new one...i just hadnt time to install it.

Nö.. falsch.
Das AtmoLight Plugin erstellt intern ein DirectX Surface(Destination) den source dafür holt es sich von MP (Source Surface =TV in dem Fall)
wird von MP ein neues Bild (Frame) geschickt extrahiert es die Pixel welche an AtmoWin gesendet werden.
Ohne das Plugin kennt AtmoWin MP überhaupt nicht hat also in keiner weise irgendeinen Einfluss auf dem was in MP abgeht.
Alles was mit MP <> AtmoWin zu tun hat geht vom Plugin aus das ist die Schnittstelle zwischen beiden Programmen.
Und nur diese kommuniziert mit MP nimmt das aktuelle Bild verkleinert es abhängig von deinen Einstellungen (64x48) Pixel und schickt diese Daten dann an AtmoWin.
Erst dann werden die Daten über die Com Schnittstelle an deine Hardware geschickt.
Selbst dann kennt AtmoWin MP immer noch nicht.

Sorry es gibt da kein vielleicht.
AtmoWin und MP sind komplett eigenständige Anwendungen die nichts von einander wissen.
Wie soll es dann irgendeinen Einfluss auf MP nehmen können?
Wenn du mich nicht kennst kannst du mir auch keine Hand reichen
Wenn überhaupt liegt der Fehler beim Atmolight Plugin.
Und das kannst du unterumständen selber testen in dem du dieses selbst debuggen tust.
