Sirquack: I'm sorry you are having so many problems. I don't know what to tell you. I'm having very good results with 2 ATSC cards installed, the Fusion 5 Lite and the VBox-DTA-150. I've been recording and timeshifting. The only problem I have is the audio/video sync problem and that occurs when there is a change in audio stream such as a commercial/TV SHow transition where my receiver needs to change modes.

This is fixed by rewinding a few seconds into the TS buffer and tends to occur over and over, but almost always after a hiccup in the signal or commercial/show tranition, or commercial.commercial transition. This is the ONLY issue that I am dealing with at the moment.

Perhaps you could post your mediaportal.log in the pastebin and I could take a look at it.

    Thanks C64

Well I just uninstalled MediaPortal again, and also ran through the windows registry and removed every instance of mediaportal, rebooted, reinstalled MediaPortal RC4, Clicked on Setup, and it is now running through the initial Wizard a person gets the very first time they run setup. It is going through the ATSC scanning right now. We will see what happens.

I'm curious if there is a problem in stopping the scanning once it gets passed 69, since there is nothing beyond 69?

If I continue to have problems, I'll make sure I post the log file...

    thanks, Randy

Well it happened again, it got up to channel 60 during the scan process and then I received the Windows Microsoft "Send Report" or "Do Not Send Report" Configuration error, I normally click "Do Not Send Report" when I'm at work and we receive these on our servers. Anyway, then the MediaPortal setup closes. I have two log files, and error.log and a mediaportal log. The error log talks about a table called tblprograms missing? Anyway, I'll try to post the logs to the link mentioned above C64, thanks.

C64, I went ahead and posted my log files just now. Also, funny thing I went back into MediaPortal and ran the Setup from the menu in the application. It is now upto 180 and counting, maybe this will complete, then I can do the backup. Let me know if the log files tell you anything, thanks again.

I checked the PC this morning and there was a MediaPortal message saying it encountered an error and needed to shutdown. I've got some more log files that talke about Mozilla not being found, which I thought I didn't need? Also, about some DVB graph could not be found or started?

I checked the TV settings and it appeared that the channels were found, so I tried the backup button C64 mentioned so I don't have to rescan each time I have a new build/version. It said there was no recorded information and would not save the XML file?

I am able to go into MediaPortal and watch HDTV. I notice one channel has a vertical line about 1-2 pixels wide running along the left side of the image. I may try to update to the lates build again to see what happens.

As mentioned above, I did post my log files, and can post the new ones if needed...

    thanks, Randy

It should still save the XML file. I get the no recorded info all the time, but it will still save the channels.

What SVN are you using? Did you make sure to run start.bat afterwards? If you aren't on a recent SVN, please upgrade asap.
