Audio Cuts out for second (2 Viewers)

Sorry if I mis-explained I was meant to state that the problem exists in MP & WMP but not VLC which I think is due to VLC using it's own drivers.

Is there an option to change the default audio renderer in windows?

I don't know as you can tell my knowledge is quite basic when it comes to Windows. Under MP where do I change the codec or renderer ? I don't really want to mess with TV as you can see from the start of this thread that is what I was having an issue with first.

I think I might nearly have it after reading this forum.http://www.avsforum.com/t/1413542/r...ect-radeon-7850-hdmi-onkyo-random-audio-drops I am currently testing my audio direct through the TV as previously I had my PC feeding into the receiver and out to the TV and I am not receiving any audio cuts. I think this might be a bug with the 7850's. I will have to do a complete test later and will report back. Fingers crossed.

It worked ! If anyone is experiencing sound cuts with a Radeon HD7850 have a look at the above link. I was pulling my hair out with this one.
