I have been installed and it works great. It has ASIO, WASAPI and ReplayGain support.

I have a found a problem in ARC.
Within music now playing the OSD does not work.

There are ARC entries in the error.log

I am trying to control an external surround sound amp, using ARC, EventGhostPlus and EventGhost. The idea is that when ARC changes the audio renderer to SPDIF, the amp is powered up, then powered down again when I switch back to HDMI (for the TV). Powering up the amp is not a problem - I can define a macro in EventGhost that runs a Windows batch file. The problem is that EventGhost does not detect the change of renderer. I can get it to detect the remote control button that I've assigned to ARC, but it can't tell which renderer is active.

Is there a solution? Is there an event that ARC generates, that EventGhost can detect?

Hi,

I'm trying to get this plugin to work without any success, the problem is that nothing happens what so ever. I've got the latest plugin version running on MediaPortal 1.3.0 RC on Windows 7 x64 with UAC off. I'm not trying to use any regfiles, just want to change the audio renderer from my TV to my receiver using the default 'k' button. No remotes involved or anything.
I've set it up according to attached files but as I said, nothing happens at all? Am I doing something wrong here? I've tried all sorts of rendering output models but there is nothing, not even the OSD will show up. Can't seem to find anything in the logs either except info about the plugin being loaded. I can find a MPAudioSwitcher.log in the logs directory but without any real information except for current date and time?
I've also tried with a older version, 0.8.6 RC1, but same problem with this.
I would really like to get this plugin up and running so if anyone knows what I could try next I would appriciate it.

It seems to me that your config is OK.
Have you tried with ctrl or shift k?

Perhaps only k is mapped to something else ...

Have cou checked your logs?

Which log should I check? Error.log contains nothing. In Mediaportal.log I can't seem to find anything out of the ordinary but I'm not quite sure what to look for?

If I remember right the ARC has it's own log. (ARC.log ?)
Does changing the renderer in the MePo config work?

Change in MePo works fine.
Can't seem to find any arc.log, do you know where it should reside?
