Hopefully this is the right forum to post in. I use StreamedMP skin so I thought I'd post here.

Does anyone have logo pics for the newer Australian free to air channels?
Namely Go!, 7Two and ABC3. I think they are the only ones I am missing.
I'm using MP1.0.2 (stable) and the version of StreamedMP that goes along with that. I'm not sure if the latest version of the skin contains logos for the new channels, but I don't want to install it as I believe it isn't fully compatible with the version of MP I'm using.

TV logos are skin independent, so let's rather try the TV section.

I was never satisfied with the exisiting logo for ABC News 24 - the aspect ratio is far too wide. I managed to grab a higher resolution image direct from their broadcast and after hacking around in GIMP, came up with this. The aspect ratio of this logo is the same as their watermark seen on their broadcast.


I’ve also been using my own version of the GO! logo for quite some time. I find my version to be more in keeping with their (garish) colour scheme. Also the colours make it REALLY easy to distinguish in the EPG or mini guide.

EDIT: Added Channel 10's newer 3D logo. It was made from a lower resolution grab so quality is not the best - but still looks much better than their out dated 2D logo.

Anyway, here they are. Use them if you want to.

ah i found where to put these files...the name of the .png has to match the channel name exactly

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\tv\logos

For the default Windows 7 32-bit installation it should be:
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\tv\logos

The names are fine (currently). They need to be the same as whatever they are detected as in the TV scanner.

Any idea how we remap / add the new GEM channel - also does anyone have the logo for GEM ?
