    Hi,

i have installed MP1 RC1 and the latest svn today. Then i realised that the mouse cursor won´t disapear. In the Forum i found the tip to activate the "autohide mouse" in "general" option, but this option is not there....

Any ideas on how to fix that? Is there a config file i can edit?

Thank you very much in advance!

I have the same problem, and not really a solution. I just scrolled the pointer completely to the right of the screen and detached the mouse. I only use the remote and there is no pointer visible... Maybe too simple but works for me. Sorry if it does not work for you..

I'm having the same problem. Please put the option back in or let me know if there is a work around. It autohides in all other players except Media portals.

    TIA

    hi,

i have notice, that after a clean install of mp1 the autohide mouse function works fine. after changing the language to german from within mp1 after a restart of mp1 the fullscreen option is disabled. after changing back to fullscreen fom within mp1 the mousecursor is always visible.

maybe that helps tracking down the problem.

    tthanks in advance

I guess no one knows how to fix this. I will go back to the old verison were the autohide option was still listed in the general options.

Not that it probably helps much but I've just done a fresh install in the last few days and the mouse is auto-hiding no problems in a whole range of screens. I'm not really doing anything like changing languages or things like that, but I certainly haven't come across a screen where the mouse doesn't disappear after a couple of seconds.

    Cheers,
    Craig

    p.s. btw, I installed RC1 with SVN 19228

Windows should do this automatically anyway, thats why the option was removed.

I'm also having this problem, and I can say that for me, the pointer never disappears in mediaportal. It works fine in media player however.

Is this an option in windows? If so, how do you activate it?

I have to keep reinstalling every once in a while when it happens. Never had an issue with the old version when they had the option to autohide mouse. I save the database files and then reinstall MP and wirte over the files. I'm currently looking into other options and may get rid of MP.
