The "Audio sync problems when screen set to 24 Hz" is (as far as I can determine) fixed in the latest SVN to 1.1 beta

i use build in player with saf codecs

anyone also have this problem ?
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...creen-set-24-hz-39188/index26.html#post516245

i also have it randomly when starting a movie or forwarding in a movie (only in 24p)
the movie then looks in slowmotion.

I changed from using batch files to the windows 7 api and this seems to have lowered the nr of occasions when it happens but it is not gone yet.
Someone mentioned that when mp is not in focis it lowers framerate ? sometimes (not always just using alt tab emoves he stutter)

Hi onyx,
Do you use the inbuild mediaplayer or do you use an external player. If it is the normal inbuild one, the not-in-focus issue should not apply.
It might also be codec related. What codecs do you use?

I have the same problem (I think), only I wouldn't describe it as the video playing in slow motion. Rather it is like an extreme stutter. I haven't considered that it might be connected to the refresh rate changer, but maybe it is. I use latest SAF beta for codecs, together with latest SVN and the fixed core.dll for the "haali not disposed.." problem.

yes it is more a low motion then a stutter.
i also use saf with latest svn and fixed core.dll
it happens randomly and is fixed when stopping and resuming the movie.
Before i used windows api for changing refresh rate i used ati with batch files i had to close and restart mp to fix it

Don't know if this have been reported: I downloaded latest drivers for my nvidia card. All seemed well at first, but later I found out that ARC had stopped working. I checked all Mediaportal and firewall settings, nothing wrong there. So I downloaded an older version of the video driver - voila ARC worked as usual. From my limited knowledge, all I can say is that ARC might have some problems with newer NVIDIA drivers. Perhaps it would be wise to check this out.

Onyx666,

Can you try updating to the newest SVN. It has has the updated core.dll in there, so no patch is needed. Maybe it is corrected somehow. I know you already use the same patched core.dll. Maybe something changed besides the core.dll that can affect this.
Can you also try to reproduce the problem using the default skin (blue) and with as much plugins disabled as possible? This to eliminate possible false errors.

Feedback on this is welcome. If the problem is still there, you might want to fill in a bug-report in the SVN thread.

Same problem for me as you can read a few posts earlier. Good to have it confirmed by someone else. Thanks.

Hi
I'm trying to setup the Dynamic Refresh Rate feature but don't works under Windows 7 x64, I'm trying also with nvidia control panel settings, but still don't work; with windows xp x32 all works fine (my TV support the required resolutions).
What I have to do to?

On a side note, we have identified numerous buggy Nvidia driver versions that are having issues with the new Windows 7 SetDisplayConfig API. But some fixing will be done on MP side.

Has someone already reported that the Refreshrate Changer does not work if you play any AVI, MKV from DVD? The refresh rate are only changed if you start movies stored on HDD.
