@pur_berger

    Is this what you had in mind?
    yep - that's it :)[DOUBLEPOST=1363969920][/DOUBLEPOST]
    EDIT: Also to include your mods in the "common.overlay.xml" as well (without the frame png file)...at the moment the video window in other modules are still as prior to your changes.

    Thse are not covered from the comon.overlay but separatly - need to check where the video is put

    Not sure I understand...the "BasicHome.xml" imports the "common.overlay.home.xml" and the other modules, ie. TV Series import the "common.overlay. xml"......so at the moment the basic home screen is the only one to have your mods so there are two different video overlays......

    Basic Home video overlay...... Screenshot_2.png......compared to TV Series video overlay......Screenshot_3.png

    @kjegibbons I see you are also not getting the original Avallonis font colors (which I like better) in the Blue Avalanche mod. It looks like it will take an xml by xml search to get the text back to the original colors.

    There is an entry in the settings to change menu/list colours to your personal preference but this seems to have been "broken" a long time ago (I haven't bothered looking at this much because, as you say, this would mean a lot of work sifting through the xmls).

    It would be nice to have this option working again though.

    EDIT: There are free apps out there that will find and replace text in batch files...Notepad++ being one of them.

    jep - so both need to be modified. But one thing after another ;)

    Can you also put theother backgrunds through your magic tool ... argh - had a look at photoshop now - forgett it - iot would take me weeks to understand ho it works ;)

    These are the ones I use:

    now_playing_video_shadow.png

    common.overlay.video.png

    So this would be the one for the Video preview. What I wanted to get is a sort o3dimensional shadow frame for the video privew window getting ligter to the outside (sort of floating effect for the Video Window) - as I didn't find a better alternative I used an existing Background. Maybe you have an way to make it look better.

    scheduled1-1.png
    scheduled2.png
    scheduled3.png
    scheduled1.png

    These are ar he outlines - the full you already have done- can you do this for teh outliones too? and maybe give the more "body" so they are more visible (for example for dark backgrounds like yours)

    basichome_weather_bg.png

    This one is used for the weather - as it is the base for the border ones it also would need more body (not that transparent) and teh left siede would need three optinons - no rounded corners, top corner rounded, rounded corners

    Do you know which font's are set in the settings? Which xml is it?

    Might be an idea (while you're working on the files) to also include the "
EQ
" values from the "common.overlay.xml" in the "common.overlay.home.xml"......this is the reason why the EQ png doesn't appear on the basic home page because the entries are missing from the xml.

    Can' find the
EQ
in any of my common xml's

    I'll try and find it and get back to you.[DOUBLEPOST=1363979558][/DOUBLEPOST]
    ......Can' find the
EQ
in any of my common xml's......

    You should find it in your "common.overlay.xml"......

    <control>

EQ

    <type>image</type>

    <posX>329</posX>
    <posY>1039</posY>

    <texture>now_playing_eq.gif</texture>
    <visible>player.hasvideo+!control.isvisible(3337)</visible>
    </control>
