Okay, installed the latest fanarthandler. that solved the problem !

but the missing font problem still exist. in font.xml is no other font than Avallanche. i uninstalled the theme, reinstalled.
installed the font in the theme directory, installed the one from here:

still this arial style font :-(
use Win7

Please also try if Avallanche font works in a texteditor like Wordpad. If it works there, the font is correctly installed and the error has to be somewhere else.
Ps. I don't know if you have installed the font correctly. In Windows 7 and 8 you have to right click on the fontfile and press install. In windows XP and Vista you need to copy the fontfile in c:\windows\font directory.

now there are some more glitches.
but first i have to test everything else.

just one thing that i dont like ;-)
in video/tv/online-video mode:
the opacity of the info bar (top/bottom). because in TV or online videos there are many infos in the bottom area.
eg newsticker or subitles or football results. so that it is not easy to read text from the info bar.

is it possible to make the opacity or maybe the look like in avalon skin?
maybe a hint, so that i can do this on my own? i have an image with version 1.2 an valon skin.

You can modify and recolor the files as you like , after that, copy them into AvallancheAddict directory and clear /cache folder before restarting MePo. But I tried to make a darker version a bit more like Avalon/Avallonis, it will also be in next release.

This is an awesome theme! Though this my result when loading it up (same thing happens for Avallanche) cleared cache and even uninstalled skin/themes with same results after re installing them :/

Did you try to reassign the BasicHome Items in Avallanche Editor?

When I change them in settings it says changes will take effect after a restart but they don't

Also in the attached image the fanart scraping text just stays there

Any help would be appreciated

Unfortunately the color scheme can not be changed in GUI. I will remove that option in the next release. Use the attached file and move it to AvallancheAddict folder to change the color to your needs.
About the scraping text issue, have you installed the latest Avallanche version? This is a FanartHandler issue. You need the latest plugin.
