I also believe that something along the line of that mod would be nice. I agree with Mbuzina that it fits the design better and I personally think it's easier to navigate.

I'd also like to see this. I think the ethos of matching screen design between plugins etc is what makes this skin so visually pleasing. Thats the one single screen which just seems to be a throw back of previous skins and doesn't fit the overall feeling.

I'd also like to again reiterate my desire to see

1) this mod implemented! https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/avalon-553/avalon-community-mods-103097/index3.html#post818855 which makes the basic home main window the same size as all the plugin windows (yet still allows room for weather etc). I just think its really nice when everything is lay out the same way and follows a strict basic design. It also allows more fan art which is never a bad thing - EDIT obviously switchable with the bottom info display setting which plugin screens adhere to.

2) if it is possible when viewing LiveTV or Movies etc that when you press the info button and get the now playing overlay with time remaining etc, for the overlay to 'timeout' and automatically dissapear after x number of seconds. Rather than having to either cycle through or use the previous window key (not sure if thats a skin thing really).

3) some indication of what speed rewinding / fastforward is running at (x2 / x3 etc) as suggested earlier in the thread.

Also I can confirm the bug where auto screen rate changer, if set to notify of changes, displays the recording symbol in the message overlay incorrectly.

mmm something seems to have gone wrong for me...

Started up MP and I got a big message along the lines of a MPEI installer needs to install. So I allowed it to continue and then it restarts MP and sticks at trying to download this skin Avalonis. Using the Alt Tab I see that it fails as the file can't be found, I do not have anything on auto update.

I removed the skin and use Streamed MP but I still get that message and it will stop at trying to, I assume, download the pending update which has as yet not been uploaded.

How can I stop this message coming up about the update which is partially applied from a source which does not exist..? If I ignore the message every now and again the same one will keep repeating.



If I do install the 1.0.1 skin again MP will show...



...even though that is wrong and I still get the looping message and a failure to download with MP not starting.

Another strange thing is that the MPEI isn't even showing the skin as being installed, even though it is.

If I try and use this skin I then get a large warning message letting me know that I'm using an outdated one.

Solution - for me it was to delete the queue.xml file within the v2 folder for the mpei installer - it continually tried to update the skin.
