Hello powermarcel10,

i have many problems with this skin, for example recorded tv. I can make a lot more.
Other problem is, when i have list view in series, when i open a Serie, then the covers for the season's are lost, but when i change to coverflow, the season covers are showen.
On LiveTV the last recorded files, i have only a x as image, no image from the recorded file.

And it is normal when I choose what to go about it so that eg the cover go away after view seconds ?

@D3ltoroxp: Please be a bit more specific.. You say "a lot of problems" Well personally, I have only some small bugs on my todo list, as the skin is allready very stable and complete.. only some perfections are still to do for me personal..

Also, please read this topic before you post any bugs.. I'm 99% shure that the problem you discribe about the missing cover arts is just a setting in Avallonis.. Please read the solution in one of the previous pages of this topic..

About any bug you have found: Please post them all (with screenshots) and tell us what the problems are.. With saying things like; "I have many problems with this skin" it's hard to reduce them.. And offcourse; you are free to use another skin that's better in your opinion!

Last but not least: I can't solve any problem with the default tv skin files for Avallonis as i'm using Argus with 4TR because it's much more stable for me.. So maybe cul8er wil take a look into that one..

Ok i will try it a little bit better, my english is not so good.

For Example, when i go too moving pictures and select new added movies, in the new window i have the videolist on the right side and the cover from the selecetd movie on the middle of the screen. When i was a view seconds on the movie and do nothing the cover goes away like a hidden menu.

I'm 99% shure that the problem you discribe about the missing cover arts is just a setting in Avallonis..

Where i can find more settings for the skin ? In Skin Editor under Config in MP, i can only build my basic home right ?


For the other problems i have, i will make screenshots.

And a other quest, for a long time i used the avalon skin for a short while, when a record is running, there was an animated circle with a red point. Is this not included in this avallonis skin ? I liked the running red ring in the circle

The issue on this screen you have seen ? It's only on my system ?

Hi D3ltoroxp,

-About the covers that disappear after a few seconds, I have no idea.. I didn't have that problem.. Have tested it for you..

-You will find the skinsettings inside Mediaportal! Just go to settings -> skinsettings -> Misc (or genreal, above "update") -> Disable the uppest settings "disable poster in listview" also disable the second option "Hide poster when scroll in listview"

-With 4TR (Fortherecord) I'm seeing that red animated circle at my homescreen, maybe that's a problem with the skinfiles for default tv server.. Also the screenshot you made is for the default MP tv server, so I can't reduce it..

Are you shure you're running MP 1.3 Alpha? Maybe you can update your system info.. That would be usefull!

Aaaah, allright.. Not exactly know what you mean, but it sounds great! Can you tell me where you have seen this feature before? Maybe I can take a look into that and see if I can implent it in Avallonis..

Cant remember where exactly, just that I used to use it quite a lot to look up where I'd seen a particular face before! (this is extremely useful when settling the "wasn't he in x..." debates

Would like a 'Cast' option that takes to a page showing a list of the characters and their actors - selecting an actor would bring up other movies they were in, bios' and other details about them.

You don't know on wich skin it was? It sounds more like a plugin option.. Can't remember this feature but wil take a look.. If you remember something please let me know!

whaha, you old funny men.. I'm now searching in the movingpictures skin wiki to see if I can find something like this..

was it an option that open a website? Or just a feature inside MP..

It just opened a page with details for the actors - not a web page but within MP.
Not sure if it queried the IMBD or some such...
