hi,

i took the "myemulators.xml" from the maya skin and it works, not perfect but for now it does the trick.

Put it in programdata/team mediaportal/mediaportal/skin/avalon

Firstly this is awesome, thank you. I just need to find how to turn off weather, and recently added items as I prefer these not to be shown.

Bug report: Installing version 0.9.7.0 most of my videos failed to work. I eventually traced this back to the fact ( I think) Avalon changed my audio decoder from ffdshow to divx. I changed it back again and it was fine.

Edit: Actually I spoke to soon about it being resolved!

Not only does it change default codec settings - at least on my installation - it has also messed up my subtitles. I can now no longer see subtitles in Media Portal e.g. on mkvs where I have an srt file in the same folder named the same.

It still works if I test the file in Windows Media Player, so it's not my codecs set up, but something in Media Portal itself that has changed. Grrrgh.

Edit: okay, it was really easy to fix the subtitles problem, as Media portal config helpfully includes subtitles options in the video config section. Media portal really is awesome. Also noticed I can get rid of the recently played sections v. easily in Avalon with the basic home editor; brilliant thank you.

Now I only have following issues:
1. Top bar controls (my server install has no remote control) don't seem to work with Avalon so I can't control videos
2. Weather/ temperature at top right when turned off in Infoservice still shows forwards slash after clock on top rght of basic home even though no weather showing (no big deal ) If info service turned off completely you get some code in its place.
3. Would also like My Emulators as others have requested - haven't actually tried this since 1.2 - hope it is still being worked on!
4. How do you change the recorded tv folder icons as mine are just crosses.edit: found them in program data its 'defaultfolder.jpg' but does anyone know how to stop recordings from being grouped as I can't get them to look nice that way, would prefer just not having series folders as we have tvseries for groups. Having them look nice is important to WAF.

Could you please add some "generic" cover to show in coverflow-view when the movie has no specific cover. It would look much better than just an empty space.
Btw, I'm loving the new transparent panel in the middle. Makes a big difference.

Any plans to support Browsetheweb?

Hi weather on home screen comes from infoservice, second tab there is a show weather checkbox, and disable the main weather plugin as its not working, there are various replacements, just use forum search.
