Backdrop - Skin (RELEASED!!!) (1 Viewer)

I have used Backdrop, drooled at your Avalon Mod and enjoyed benefits of the Latest Media Handler and Fanart Handler plugins. They are wonderful. One look at Backdrop and my friends asked meet to setup MediaPortal for them.

I have never been a skinner so I cannot honestly say that I understand. But, from the comments made on this forum it was obvious that you have given tremendously to your projects and hence the community.

You can copy those, but I don't believe they are working correctly. Those files has to be edited for proper work.
If someone has done this before it would be very nice to post them here so others can use them also... I don't have enough time at the moment so I can't edit myself. Especially WorldWeather is highly needed as inbuild weather did not work any more.

To add support for WorldWeather Plugin in BasicHome you have to change 3 things. It's done in 5mins. Remember: Not all weather conditions are mapped correctly in the plugin yet.

In common.time.xml:

I don't have one either. Just wait for the skin designer to support this plugin or you also could try to do it yourself.
My changes are only for the basichome screen. You have to edit the red stuff in these two xmls. (BasicHome.xml & common.time.xml)

Hi.
I've done some backdrop skin files for worldweather plugin.

I've finally done satellite images so all parts including basic home screen are working. If there is a newer version of the plugin I think I have to rework as some labels are not localized now. (e.g. moonphase...) New .zip attached with complete skin files.

i've got an other problem with the skin in my system.
after a few minutes there's two mtn.exe ( thumbnailer ) launched on the pc and it takes a lot of power.
how can i fix that ?
is there a thing that i've omissed ?

Hi.
Due to my bad internet connection I can't use any online media. So I'm not able to skin Youtubefm. With mvcentral I don't have played up to now. Maybe later...

BTW on mvcentral there are skin files for StreamedMP. I think this would do the job until there are "real" backdrop files...

mtn-.exe creates the preview thumbs for pictures, videos, music. This has nothing to do with the skin as it's a MP process.

I am in the process of installing for the record and I am unsure how to get this skin to use the 4TR skins instead of the default Tv skins.
