    AW: Backdrop - Skin (RELEASED!!!)

I did a clean install today with MP 1.2.1 today. Other skins worked fine so far, but every time a start MP with Backdrop i crashes. I added the log.

Anny Idead what the problem might be?

It seems the fonts weren't installed correctly. Maybe you could try a new install..

Thank you. I installed Backdrop again, with the same result. I installed than specifically the fonts for Backdrop, which didn't help either. Here both logs. Perhaps the error log gives more information.

Edit: I started MP not in Full screen mode, so that I was able to the read the the error message, which was always in the background before. It sais "Nicht genügend Arbeitsspeicher vorhanden". "Not sufficient main memory". Wich should be impossible as as just installed 8 GB.

    Hi.
    This confuses me a bit:
    C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal
Normally this has to be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal"
Do you use Win7 32 on a system with 8GB ram? If it's so, the amount of ram you've installed is useless as 32 Bit OS can't access more than 3,3 GB of Ram...

And you have a problem with cache. Try to delete all cache in "c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache\" and start MP again. Maybe this helps.

I installed yesterday Windows 7 64 because of the 8GB RAM. But I still have the problem with this skin, which is really confusing.

I've had this problem with Infoservice. Try deleting the infoservice plugin and reinstalling it. Make sure you get all the languages directories etc. installed too...

i like the fanart orientated view. But for me it's a bit too much.
Could you please make this skin configurable like you did with the X-Factor Skin?
For example the ScreenShot "backdrop-skin-released-tvseries_episode_details", i would prefer to see this instantly (allways on; left to the list) like X-Factor and not with an delay of 3 seconds.

This skin doesn't remember last view (but only folder view) – but default wide skin remembers
I use folder view so I have to change it every time I show music
