i can do and set what i want, but backupsettings isn t saveing the skin dir!!!
it saves alomost everyting but not the skin directory from mediaportal!
the skin directory is allways empty!!
all settings are right.
its very important for me, thats is also importing the skin dir from mediaportal!
hope that anyone can help.

i am sorry huha, my mistake. have forget where the needed logs are locatet.
can you please tell me the location of the needed logs, then i can attached it.
another thing come to my mind:
backupsettings is asking each time for the folder of the tv-server. if you guide it there, next time it ask again for it.
but i think you need the logs first, before you can say something

The most simple way: In "TV Server Configuration", on the top left corner press "Open Log Directory".

The logs of BackupSettings are written to "tv.log".

that was the problem. i was looking there for something like "backupsettings.log", but there was of course nothing.

i acitivatet verbose and startet export. after starting export, it seems that it automaticly deactivatet verbose.
therefore i hope the attached logs are ok.

parkuhr, the verbose debug settings were not on during your run. Please repeat this once more. The checkbox should not change. What is the directory folder of your skins? What version of MP are you using? What plugin version are you using?

sure, it should not, but it does. its strange.

o.s: win7/64 ; mp: 1.1.3.0 : backupsettings version: 1.2.0.3 (installed with extension installer)
directory skin folder is: c:\users\all users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin
and also in: programdata/teammediaportal(...) (hyper/junction link?)
maybe a rights problem?

update:

i deeinstalled backupsettings with the extension-installer. then i used the installe.exe from the zip-archiv.
the same problem: skin-dir was not exportet and verbose still jumps from activatet to deactivtatet.

but.........! if start "BackupSettingsMP.exe" from the extractet zip-archiv, its aks me for the mediaportal-dir and everything seem to work!
the skin dir als get exportet and even verbose stays on...
but if i execute it from the plugin-section of setup-tv, i have the spoken problems.

i suspect the hyperlink does not work.
What is the path in MediaPortalDirs.xml?

try to set the skin path
<Dir id = "Skin">
<Path>%ProgramData%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\</Path>
</Dir>

to

<Dir id = "Skin">
c:\users\all users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin
</Dir>

does that work?

hi huha, thx for this hint.
i tried it, with no luck;(
first with ": "C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin" and then without ": C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin.
in both cases it skin dir was not exportet.
