the plugin mvcentral I play a video and go back to home.
regular_home and basic_home.
title and artist are displayed correctly in the overlay.
while running title (overlay) I navigate to the next artist - artist in overlay it with changes (ie selected not played).
mvcentral missing since a string?
does not work because #play.current.artist

Sounds more like a mvCentral bug, #play.current.artist should remain static whilst something is playing.

If the skin is not using #play.current.artist then it is a bug in the skin. Of course this assumes that the mvCentral plugin publishes this property.
