    Hi there -

as i posted in the BDhandler-thread i got some problem with some BluRay discs.

    till now :

"Clash of the titans" (Kampf der Titanen)
"Horton hears a Hu" (Horton hört ein Hu)

(list will be updated if i got more)

@ those movies i allways got extrem stuttering
    audio AND video

    i tried SAF4 and SAF5 ...
also without SAF - instead of it PowerdDVD
(both movies run smooth @ PowerDVD10)

also a problem @ "Horton hears a hu"
is that the movie stopps @ 3minutes14seconds
bang - and MePo surface is back again - no error mesage or anything like that
seems the playlist of the stream parts was read/interpreted wrong.

so for now i think there is a problem with the splitter (a hint from Sebastii - thx again)

    any ideas?
or anyone else with those problems?

    Yes,

Here i have FFDshow Audio for all and Default Directsound Device.
Try to add FFDshow in Post-Processing in video config option.

Maybe after play with output setting section of FFDshow Audio (like connect to PCM first)
Also set in FFDshow Audio in DirectShow Control : i set the last one before none option.

Otherwise, it would be great if you can try with graphstudio and see if the same happen.

PS : Maybe we should talk on another thread if it's related to codec issue :)

i tried that - and it was a bit better for short time -
but the movie stopps also @ a bit more after 3 minutes

thx for being with me @ sebastiii

log files of my testing machine i can provide tomorrow again from my office :)

here @ home i did also some changes by my HTPC

    i am running SAF4 stable.
i installed PowerDVD MarkII over it - and changed (for a test)
ALL codecs in MePo to PowerDVD 10 Codec (upnp)

    result:

    i start Horton again ...
stuttering ... jump over that 3 minute point away
    stuttering ...
let it run 20 or 25 seconds
    skip back 15 seconds ...

runs smooth till the end ...

hmm so i see far far away that this is really a codec or splitterproblem

hope to get the "clash of the titans" BluRay again the next days ...
my neighbour give it to a friend for a couple of days so i have to wait.

    by the way:

Kung-Fu panda runs now perfect from the begining...

    mornin´ :)

does anybody know the difference between

    PowerDVD 10

    and

    PowerDVD 10 (UPNP)

i just know that UPNP is a streaming thing between a server and a client ...
i 'll try now BluRay again by switching ALL codecs to PDVD (without UPNP)

    allthought graphstudio shows no differce
when i use the UPNP codecs of PowerDVD10 it has less stuttering---
    runs smooth ...

but with booth - the movie (horton) stopps after 3:14 minutes ...

    EDIT:

what filter can i use to replace the MPC-MPA decoder filter ?

    hi,

I use ffdshow Audio for sound side. I don't know exactly the diff between PDVD10 and PNP.
I think Kung-Fu panda BD codec video is H264 right ?
    And horton is VC-1 ?

Very strange, i don't know if you go on WIN7 you will see a diff. but maybe something wrong with DXVA outside PDVD soft.
Horton is a BD Seamless ? you can see it by open Bluray with BDINFO (maybe you need Slysoft ANYDVD) and 3:14 minutes it's maybe the first part of playlist.

    Seb.

i don't know how to see the differnce between H264 and VC-1?
very sorry - how can i "see" what kind of code the BluRay is?

i send u a *.rar with the structure ... hope that helps

    EDIT:

tried with all AUDIO-options to FFD - stutering more than ever :(

    EDIT:

    timeline is wrong @ horton

    when i look Horton on PDVD10 the "stop-scene" is @ 5:35
MePo (or the BDHandler) cuts away some scenes OR just does not interpret it right
    so the stop-time in MePo IS 3:14 ... in real-time (with PowerDVD10) it is 5:35 ...

You can look @ BDInfo - Blu-ray Video and Audio Analysis Tool
With this tool, you can analyse BD structure and see with view report what king of BD codec is using.
Here it's AVC i don't why it's shuttering, when we look @ the playlist the first part is 02:22 long, so it's strange that it stop @ 3:14 minutes.

    I don't know what you say :(

Maybe you can try to remux it with tsmuxer and see if after you have the same.
    Seb.

    lot of testing today ...

    my result (only for today)

MCP (which is needed for BluRay handling) makes the mistake
in this special case of "horton hears a who".

    substantation:
when i use an older SAF with former version of MCP than 1287
the copied original BR file is played smooth and clear ...

    handicap:
    it can't handle a BR
(in combination with passkey or anyDVD-HD)

    same is with PowerDVD10
(can handle BR but not useable out of MePo - only with hot-key plugin -> not what i want adn need :D )

if i take a newer one MPC - it can handle BR out of MePo (BRhandler)
but it plays with stuttering - and stops the movie @ 3.14 / 5:35

    so far from here ...

    EDIT:

by using SAF5 - it cannot play all my MKV movies ...
most of them wont play ---- MePo error --->AVC / MS-DTS problem (however i prefer SAF4)
AND very often non-syncron Audio Video (also @ live-TV)

You added FFDshow to MePo postprocessing, and this MKV have multiple audio strems inside, right?
    If yes.
