Sorry should of made myself more clear.

In basic home. It would be nice if basic home could display random backgrounds from the coresponding menu items. i.e. when moving pictures is highlighted a random moving picture backdrop is displayed.

Also in global search, display the now playing artist until a search phrase is enetered.

I'm a little concerned about the performances of a similar solution.
I think that there would be too many images to load.
I have to make some tests and see how it behaves.

I see your point. There is some loading delay when navigating from a plugin to basic home. In xfactor there is a loading screen for this short time. Idealy the cover art should be displayed imediatly.

Hopefully the fanart handler in the future can overcome this limitation.

Is it possible to add a settings button to the topbar on the basic home?

Yes, i think it's a good idea, but i need another button to include so that i can keep the buttons centered on the home button.
Any ideas for an extra button apart from settings?

A link to the weather or plugins. This could free up a an icon on the home screen for another use.
or a settings section for the skin, just like in xfactor.
May be add all 3 buttons to free up more space on the menu icons.

What about the MPEI installer. Im not sure if this is skinable but it does appear in my plugins list.

One more thing i would suggest, is the addition of xfactor music info. It is very nice to have a description of the artist when browsing through my music library.

I have a bug with Turkish (Turkey) Regional Settings in TV Series. If you remember from before I wanted you to use isVisible instead of IsVisible in skin files. The same thing happens with TVSeries.InfoPanel... tags now. There is 2 different "i"s in Turkish, which one has a dot on top of in both upper and lower case, the other has no dot on top in both upper and lower case. ( I --> ı, İ --> i )
So the skin engine of MP or MP-TvSeries is looking for tvseries.infopanelline1 and it can't match it against tvseries.ınfopanelline1

There may be similar issues in the rest of the skin files but I haven't seen any other yet (moving pictures is perfectly fine)... I hope you can fix it and it was clear

Great news, I'll try it as soon as possible

Edit1: Everything seems fine except there is still no episode images shown, so I checked the xml files myself and it seems that in TVSeries.xml #TVSeries.EpisodeImage is left. I think the problem with Is is when they are used in string properties (starting with # variables or whatever they are called)

Edit2: The interesting thing is changing that #TVSeries.EpisodeImage to #TVSeries.Episodeimage doesn't work... But with #TVSeries.EpisodeImage and English regional settings, episode images do show correctly. Black Glass Nova 1.0.0 was able to show episode images without a problem which makes me wonder where the problem lies... So you can ignore what I said in my Edit1...

Edit3: I just compared TVSeries.xml of BGN 1.0.0 with BGN 1.1.0 (the latest one in your fixes thread) I can see two set of difference which both doesn't seem relevant to my episode image not shown problem:
1) #TVSeries.Translation. strings are added before english constant names.
2) <animation effect="fade" ... lines are added.
They might have changed something in MP code which introduced my episode images to shown problem, I'll check MP SVN next...

No, using #TVSeries.Episodeimage instead of #TVSeries.EpisodeImage wont work at all because it's hard coded into the plugin.
The other changes i made are coded in TVSeries.SkinSettings.xml file and i can control them, while this property is hard coded into the plugin and cannot be changed.
We have to ask the plugin developer to change the name or to recognize the "#TVSeries.EpisodeImage" too.

This happens when the language files of the plugin are missing or misplaced. Reinstall the plugin.

Hello,
love the skin so much but something happened when i install black glass skin. Now mp starts but immediately going to taskbar and there is no chance to switch the view. So i come back to nova version but result is the same. With other skins mp runs no prob. Any help??

Probably it's the problem within MP configuration -> General/Skin/Display Language

Supported languages for Info Service is:

German-DE
English -EN
Spanish-ES
Italian -IT
Dutch -NL

So if you have any other language as default in MP those menus fails.
