Hi Tgx,

only one issue is left from those overlay issues...the one regarding visualization window overriding the left menu.See screenshot :

I can only solve this problem if i remove the left menu. In fact if i enable visualizations in Music Playing Now screens i get this visualization in place of the album art. This visualization cannot be controlled on skin level. There is no control in the skin file that is responsible to display the visualization. The visualization is automatically created by Mediaportal engine if you tick on the "enable visualization" in Music Playing Screen and automatically takes place of the album fanart. I've tried to work on the visible attribute of the image control with id 112, but to no avail.

Maybe one of the Mediaportal team members could help me?

Sorry for the delay. I've checked and if you use the "Posters" version of MyVideos you can find in the Extras Package 2.2.0 (Alternative layouts > MyVideos > Posters) it will work just fine.

Pretoriano is spot on, that is what I was referring to... As I posted in my image earlier, it is very cool to have both coverart and visual showing in mainoverlay as well... Thanks man, do love the skin, hate to be so critical but because this skin is so consistent and based on blue3, it should be considered as a serious contender.. Team MediaPortal what do you guys think...

It's not so easy to find extra space on the overlay to display both visualizations and album art. I don't like to use extra space only for visualizations. If visualizations are not enabled then there would be a hole in the overlay and i don't like it at all! If i select the default visualizations (microsoft media player) the album art gets displayed alternated with the visualizations. If i select "Milkdrop" then only Milkdrop is displayed.

I feel comfortable and happy with the current overlay layout. I cannot imagine a solution with both visualization and album art that looks nice and practical.
Anyways thanks for the advice and i'll think about it. If i find a good solution, i'll publish it.

Hello tgx,

thank you for the fantastic skin, its may favourite skin in time.

But I found also a bug:
When I choose "My pictures" and watch pictures, all is ok. but when I go in zoom-Mode in one of these pictures, the zoom-mode will be displayed ok. But I can't go back anymore. No home-button, back-button or something else is on function. I see only a black screen. The radio, which is playing in background, this continued playing. But the skin is black...
I hope this describes the bug well, if you have a question, tell me. I try to answer it so good as possible.

I use the current Black Glass Version 2.20 version on Win7 Prof 64bit, Mediaportal 1.1 Beta

What about a splashscreen without all those icons ? (blue background + skin name/author + black rect for the loading msg and nothing else )

You are absolutely right! There's a problem when exiting from picture zoom mode.

Few things I've notcied..

1. In File Explorer plugin, the videooverlay and/or musicoverlay is displayed in the bottom left corner, covers functionality of the plugin...

2. Using Moving Pictures Full fanart, I feel that once you select a movie it should go back to a more practical display, as there is just no room for sypnopsis. I always thought the "Fusion Aeon Mod" was very cool, the looked for the image but looks like imageshack took it down..

2. I could implement a tabbed display as the one in xfactor skin. I'll try.
