great update ...im testing it now ... i just have to stop and post abut the new Filmstrip view .......I Love It ...look rally good..

excelent work .... for fanart lover ..like me ..perfect... the fanat and backdrops look rally good ..

but for user that dont use fanart i means in the shares view (i thing many user dont get the sistem for shares view and fanart handler
plugin ,that it's totaly 2 defrent thing's) the music cd cover i guss to small ...most user use shares view becose is the defult...

abut the picture filmstrip can i ask to add 1 thing,i like how the picture filmstrip is small but if you can add "select item" in the backgrand this will mack it look even better ... i means wheen you go throw the picture in filmestrip when you stend on a picture we will see it in full screen in the backgrond ...

Hi Tgx,

it seemed to be that you did not chnage the filmstrip layout for moving pictures 0.7.5 . I used the layouty files from the extra package. Will you customize this later or will this be available only for moving picture 1.0?

This could be done, but simply using the "selecteditem" property would bring a very pixelated image on the background...

I think i'm not going to update Moving Pictures 0.7.5 skin anymore, since the 0.7.5 version would have a very short life time ahead!

1. The musicoverlay.xml and/or videooverlay.xml sits over the facadeview of quite a few sections...

In this new release, i've made many changes in the overlay management to solve some issues with the upcoming release of Mediaportal 1.1. As far as i know, in Mediaportal 1.0.2 there could be some unattended overlay display in filmstrip views only.

Pretoriano is spot on, that is what I was referring to... As I posted in my image earlier, it is very cool to have both coverart and visual showing in mainoverlay as well... Thanks man, do love the skin, hate to be so critical but because this skin is so consistent and based on blue3, it should be considered as a serious contender.. Team MediaPortal what do you guys think...
