Maybe i am to stupid, but how do i change the background colors within complete skin (Music, TV, Video,....) from Blue to Black with the Editor. (Like it was with the Themes in the old Extra package).
I know there is a button for "Background Black" button it seems not to apply to what i want...

The editor outputs the colored backgrounds when you click on the "Create complete theme..." button.

With the next skin version, i'll provide a much more advanced editor.

This is a tough question!

For me this has been a bad idea. Now there isn't a uniform way to show these infos among the different native screens and 3rd party plugins. The result is that i have to edit each skin file and sort out which page uses the old way and which page uses the new way of displaying the item counts. In addition, the new way introduces additional serious issues in language management and label placement and alignment. I think that for the time being i'm not gonna make any changes in the skin. I'll wait for better instruments to show these infos as suggested by many skin developers in the thread.

that should be handled at plugin level.. skin should just publish the property, preferably with no additional strings..

this open issue for rc4 has to be solved in the plugins and not the skin..

Not really, if i start the editor and select just the "black background" and hit the button "Create complete theme" it says "Error: Atleast a picture is empty. All the pictures must be filled up".

I don't know what the editor expects.

It expects that you fill all the buttons with pictures! All the buttons must be filled up. If you are only interested in the backgrounds, fill up all the buttons with a dummy picture, select a temporary folder for the target path (bottom button) and press "Complete Theme". The editor should output in the temporary folder all the backgrounds and button images. Move only the 2 background pictures from the temporary folder to the actual "Black Glass" skin folder. Clear the cache and you are done!

This is much work compared to the "old" way to get a black background.
Can you maybe make this step more easy to use?

That makes absolutely sense to me - so the plugins have to add the naming from languagefile instead hardcoded - hmm, would have been better to make this in one step (removing hardcoded label and replacing it with a langualgespecific).
Only problem was, that I understood the mantis in that way, that the skin is expected to add the label (instead of the plugin), so if I misunderstood that, we just have to wait until MePocode is updated with languagefile label ...

Edit:
After reading latest discussion I understand, it is NOT planned to readd the label into the plugins - so it is up to the skin to either display them or not!?

I have this view in RadioTime plugin - see the attached pictures. Some labels are missing. I searched all the forums for the solution and it seems I'm the only one having this problem. I even added manually en-US.xml in language folder - no luck.

MP: 1.0.2.0
RadioTime plugin: RadioTime.0.5.2.mpi

I would appreciate any advice.
