Didn't read all the posts here (non, actually ), but (copy paste from other thread):

Also: In BIOS - see if there is a "load GPU BIOS after resuming from (S1/S3?)" (or somthing like it).

I belive this goes for use of S-video or compositt only (CRT TV or LCD/plasma without VGA/DVI/HDMI)

for you task killers out there, XP has a built in command for this. TASKKILL. TASKILL /? at a ocmmand prompt to see the options. This sort of works well with TASKLIST to get the process name, then TASKKILL to end task.
