Again, Teletext is transferred from the server via .NET remoting on port 31456.
Please post the updated server and client log files.

Sound Tab 1: No sound card was found. If one is expected, you should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.

Should have read your earlier comment more carefully.
I think you'll find that you need audio hardware in order to be able to play TS files (at least with TsReader). The graph clock comes from the audio renderer. Without audio hardware you won't have an audio renderer, and that will screw with the playback graph in potentially unexpected ways.

The hardware is there and drivers installed, there are just no speakers plugged in.
I'll give it a go tomorrow with speakers and let you know.

    Hello,

Ive had this black screen also, opening TV everything was black and no sound.. Re-installed MP 1.6 and everything worked again.
Last week uptaded the Nvidia GPU driver and after it started MP and vola, again that black screen thing.

Changed the Audio Renderer in MP settings and problem was fixed. If I have time will try to re-create it to be sure!

But overall, for me changing the audio renderer solved the thing.

I have very similar problem - black tv screen, no sound (sometimes tv service crashed)
My new PC doesn’t work with existing tv server. Of course my old PC works fine. Configuration of both is similar. connection is ok - I can see EPG and recordings.

Please provide the full logs. The logs you've provided won't give us the information we need to find the problem.

On the client, use the watchdog tool:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/16_Support/3_Forums/2_Log_Files

On the server, please grab all the logs including TsWriter and Streaming Server (not just the TV service).

Most likely the client firewall is blocking reception of the video and audio... but can't be sure without the full log files.

    Thanks,
    mm
    :)
