I just upgraded my motherboard and processor. Everything works fine except for the blaster. The Colossus is connected to the STB. The audio and video come through fine it just does not change the channel. Initially, the IRSS showed incompatible. I re-installed and the IRSS is no longer in the incompatible section but still no channel change. I am posting my logs. If anyone sees anything in the logs that could help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Before we go any further, can you please confirm if you're intending to use IRSS + TV3 Blaster Plugin... or the built-in ServerBlaster plugin (?).
You have both enabled, but you can only use one or the other at any given time. In other words: you have to disable one if you want the blaster to have a chance of working.

IMHO the ServerBlaster plugin is way easer to use/configure if you're using the blaster that came with the Colossus. If you're using a different blaster (eg. USB-UIRT), you'll need to use IRSS + TV3 Blaster Plugin.

    Regards,

I did not even realize that ServerBlaster was active. I unchecked it, stopped the TV service and restarted. Still no blaster. The green light is on and ready but no action from the blaster.

I dont know if this helps but I apparently have no port options. I attached a screen shot.

So the fact that you've disabled ServerBlaster means you intend to use IRSS?

I dont know if this helps but I apparently have no port options. I attached a screen shot.
    It does help.
I think it means you haven't configured IRSS properly.
Can you please take screenshots of each of the settings in IRSS.

In the IRSS Configuration or the MP/TV Server Configuration?

Hmmm, all looks okay there... I think.

I've been looking at the code, and the port list definitely comes from IRSS.

Can you please try to restart the IRSS service (IRSS configuration, up the top), then restart TV the TV service (TV Server configuration, manual control, stop service... then start service). If the ports still don't show after that, please post the IRSS log files.

    My guess would be that:
    • IRSS is prevented from using the transceiver by some other application (eg. WMC, MediaPortal). WMC services must be stopped, and MCE remote configuration in MediaPortal must be disabled.
    • The transceiver drivers aren't installed/running correctly. I wouldn't know how to fix this. Perhaps try rebooting.

Where do I check for MCE remote configuration in MediaPortal and is there a specific place for IRSS log files?
