    The TV service log file shows that the blaster is blasting.

    So, I can only guess that the commands haven't been learnt correctly, or the channel number is wrong.

    I dont get it. Even if the channels were wrong or the codes were wrong then the blaster should still send a command, right? The IR light does blink or make any signs of transmitting.

    Yes.

    The IR light does blink or make any signs of transmitting.
    So are your commands configured with the right port settings? (ie. are you blasting to the right port?)

    The IRSS log says your hardware has the following capabilities:
    2015-05-31 23:05:17.540144 - Device Capabilities:
    2015-05-31 23:05:17.540144 - NumTxPorts: 2
    2015-05-31 23:05:17.540144 - NumRxPorts: 2
    2015-05-31 23:05:17.541144 - LearnPortMask: 2
    2015-05-31 23:05:17.541144 - ReceivePort: 0
    2015-05-31 23:05:17.541144 - LearnPort: 1
    2015-05-31 23:05:17.541144 - DetailsFlags: 0
    2015-05-31 23:05:17.550144 - TxPortMask: 0

    The TV service log files say the blaster is being told to blast to "both" ports for each command (1, 0, 0, 5, enter/select):
    [2015-05-31 23:31:49,071] [Log ] [ProcessExternalChannel] [DEBUG] - TV3BlasterPlugin: ProcessExternalCommand("Blast: 1|Both", 1, 1005)

    Corresponding IRSS log says:
    2015-05-31 23:31:49.075353 - DataPacket()
    2015-05-31 23:31:49.075353 - TransmitIR(160 bytes, carrier: 39857, port: 0)
    Send(): +8756, -4491, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2157, +602, -2157, +602, -2157, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -2207, +551, -42501, +8756, -2258, +602, -74992,

    Perhaps you have to specify "port 1" instead of both in the TV3 Blaster plugin config, as shown here:

    [edit: I also meant to ask...
    Does the "test" function in TV3 Blaster plugin work, or not?]

    I am blasting both ports, I will try and change to port 1 tonight. That is the port that the Hauppagge blaster was hitting.

    The test does not send. I have tried the codes I trained and the other three models related to my cable box. No blasts. I have also tried in the IRSS debug. I can connect and I can blast but it says that I am missing a .dll for the debug. The .dll says that it is a DebugIR.dll so I dont think that that would cause the issue.

    Ok, I have ports. I have assigned multiple codes to both, port_1, and port_2 with many different combinations. I still have not blasting going on. Is there another plug-in? Should I purchase a USB-UIRT? Is a USB-IRT fool proof?

    No, not that I'm aware of.

    I have never used a blaster, so I'm the wrong person to ask questions like this... but if I were you I would not.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you had this same blaster working with IRSS + MP/TV Server in the past (?).
    ...and the receiver (remote) is now working with IRSS + MP now, right?

    Yes, it is true. This was all working in the past. The receiver is taking commands from the remote. The plugin allows me to map the IR commands it learned or select a pre-set list of codes to either port or both. I just cannot get it to blast. I know the blaster works. It is plugged into the Colossus board but when I select a channel nothing is sent. Does the IRSS need other plugins or software that I might be missing that I did not re-install after upgrading?

    Hang on, hang on, hang on! Plugged into the Colossus board. What!?! :confused:

    I'm confused again. This is why I asked you what kind of blaster you had. The picture you posted appeared to show a Rosewill MCE-compatible transceiver (ie. remote + receiver + blaster). So, why is the Rosewill's blaster cable plugged into the Colossus board? I would have thought only a Hauppauge blaster cable - the one the came with the Colossus - could be plugged into the Colossus card.

    Please help me understand... and also post the screenshot of the "IR blaster config" that I asked for.

    This was the IR Blaster Config from Huappagge that I uninstalled.

    As for the rest, here is how I have always had it set up.
    The receiver is a USB receiver plugged into the motherboard. The blaster came with the receiver but there are only 2 ports that fit the 1/8 blaster jack. The Colossus card and the HVR-1600. I have always had the blaster plugged into the 1/8 IR jack on the Colossus card. There are two ports on the back of the receiver but they are 1/4 inch ports for what I assume were secondary receivers because the Rosewill kit cam with another receiver.
