Make sure PDVD is installed in its standard folder. C:\Program Files\Cyberlink\etc etc. I cant get it to work in mediaportal, but it works if I run it on its own from outside of MP?

MoPhat - I have redownloaded everything and put them in their respective folders. Still doesnt seem to be working for me. Exactly the same problem. Is everyone using the standard release 0.2.3.0? not some svn of something?

I hope we can resolve it, HD playback was the only thing missing as far as my setup is concerned. Any other ideas?

If you are using Vista, then try to deactivate the User Acess Control (UAC), and reinstall MP new... it can be that UAC is preventing to start another application by MP (!?)

thanks for testing, at my home on 3 Vista (2x Ultimate, 1x Business) i can use this solution without any problem.

    Thanks for feedback

Are there any logs I can turn on that might give any insight into why this plugin is not loading correctly for me in MP?

Try to place and edit this XML file in the C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal folder.
I thinks this will help :p

It seems to work for me, but with some issues.
I cannot see the supplied skins in the options in PDVD, even though they are in the pdvd/skins directory. Not a big deal for me.
When I close PDVD the PC does not return to MP. It's not even running. It just returns to the desktop.
It's still better then the old way though.

Don't use the 'X' or alt f4 to close pdvd, just hit your 'esc' button and pdvd will close and bring mp back to the forefront.

I got it to work :)
I just had to run Ccleaner, to clean up temp files and the register.
    Now it works great.

I hit "clear" on my mce remote to get back to MP, can I change this to the "back" button?

    The path is C:\Program Files\Cyberlink\PowerDVD\PowerDVD.exe.
I had to uninstall PowerDVD, run Ccleaner and install PowerDVD again.
So it was a problem on my computer, nothing wrong with your great plugin :)

But can I change the key, so that I can press "Back" on the remote to close PowerDVD and get back to MP?
As I said, I have to press "clear" on my remote to do this now.
Because of WAF I need it to be the back key on my remote...

Shure i can change the escape button...but its the same which are used in MP to go back etc... (!?)

I have attached a version which uses the backspace button instead the escape button (should be back on the MCE remote)
