Ive tried to install this plugin and having some difficulties. I think I followed everything ok, but in MP in the menu, my Play Blu-Ray entry is listed as "-no name-" and no hover image is shown?
I have the "hover_Blu-Ray.png" image in the monochrome media folder and in the plugins/windows folder is the hd starter .dll and .exe.
In the plugin setup screen I have the following entries
Button Caption - Play Blu-Ray
ButtonImage - BLANK
ButtonImageFocus - BLANK
Picture - hover_Blu-Ray.png
Plugin ID - 1199
Arguments - BLANK
Exefile - C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\Windows\HD_Starter.exe
HideMPWhileExecuting - False
I have got cyberlink in the correct installation folder and installed the monobluray skin which worked fine.
Grrr I'd pretty much decided that I was going to get a PS3 for Blu-Ray as I didnt want the hassle of sorting t out on a HTPC (AFAIK not all disks play on a HTPC correctly and all software is a right PITA). Now I dontknow what o do - having nice integration into MP is very tempting!
You have entered the Image on the wrong place, check my screenshot for the right place...and dont forgot to press the save button in the LultiShortcut plugin.
My Program path are: C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows\HD_Starter.exe
Please try to download and try the DLLFix in the plugins\windows directory
Thanks for the reply. I have tried again using the full system path to the HD_Starter.exe in the config and downloaded and ran the dllfix.exe from within the plugins/window screen (which reported it patched the file ok) and still when I load mediaportal I have this -no name- entry in my home screen and no hover image is displayed.
When I goto the -no name- menu option (to see what it does) I get this screen (below) I can not back out of this screen or move to any selections, I have to start the task manager and manually end the mediaportal task. In the task list it is displayed as "MediaPortal - Select Dialogue".
What I will try is to delete all the files I installed for this, and redownload them and see if that does anything because I stuck as to what I could possibly have done wrong now.
BTW I am using 0.2.3.0 with latest monochrome skin, only plugins I use are My TVseries and My Films and I am a Windows XP Professional user.
It seems to work for me, but with some issues.
I cannot see the supplied skins in the options in PDVD, even though they are in the pdvd/skins directory. Not a big deal for me.
When I close PDVD the PC does not return to MP. It's not even running. It just returns to the desktop.
It's still better then the old way though.
