Are you guys familiar with the usage of svn? I have created a Google code account and I'm uploading the first commit atm.
I could give you guys access so you can upload tv specific stuff.

This will help to with keeping the roadmap and issue tracker for he skin up to date.

joz, thank you for changing skin for MyFilms
I found two issues, first - when there are no hierarchy in title, than word "label" is displayed, second - some overlapping of formats and second title, see attached screenshot.

Also could you please remove leading slash in hierarchy?

first issue is me leaving test data I believe.

I've never used it, but I'm willing to learn I can see how it would help. As long as the files all end up in one release. (Would there be separate svn's for the TV stuff?) I'd be happy to do some of the documentation too if you like. It is one of my pet peeves about MP!

Could we do a lot more of this development chat there instead of bothering all the users of the forum with it?

I'm not really a pro in it myself yet, used it now and then. Just trying google code out a bit atm and it's really handy I think. Just added a bunch of issues to the tracker. Took me a couple of tries but now I understand it.
How to use SVN properly and using all it's functionality is not that easy. There is a tree like concept behind SVN. You have one trunk of the tree where all code sits in that gets out with releases. You also have branches of the tree.
This is used when you're not sure if what you're doing will really work in all aspects. But you still need to save this work somewhere, so you do that in a separate branch (each branch for a "side project" as you might call it, that you don't know yet will work good)

It's also good for documentation. It has some kind of wiki based pages behind it.

However there's no place to chat I believe. We could abuse the wiki for that offcourse but might not be real handy.

p.s.

I use TortoiseSVN to checkout changes and upload the changes I made. Checkingout I'm not really doing atm ofcourse since Im the only person uploading so far.

testdata, i left that in there. my mistake. Atleast, could be a bug too. I can't get the hierarchy stuff showing at all so...
Do you see something like "label" followed by the hierarchy?

Look at the config of MyFilms. It says somewhere that a leading slash should be added (just look for the slash otherwise). That's a default setting

If you come across a bug now please put them in the issue tacker
be sure to test thoroughly before reporting and take a look if the bug isn't already reported by someone else!

Joz, just installed 1.1 and got the crash again, same error. Then I went into MP-TV Series plugin and deleted and reimported the logo and format rules and then it loaded perfectly. I don't know if there is something in the format rules or if it was just a fluke!

Also, I am getting some freezes in TV Series after playing a file and trying to stop and return to the menu. Is this a problem in MP? I think I read about it somewhere and that it is fixed in the latest SVN.

Should I report either of these as a bug?

I changed those remember. I changed the logos location so those files where changed too...

Could be either, MP, TVSeries or something that I screwed up. If you're not sure it has to do with my skinning just check it in default Blue3 please first before posting this in the issue tracker.

Dunno if Blue3 has out of the box support for TVSeries but at least check it with other skin files... That's the only way to rule out TV Series or MP specific bugs. Will try to replicate this on the test machine

Played around with google code a bit more. Have something nice put together I think. The sidebar contains links to each plugin

Thanks for offering to test Cybertex. I know I posted these files in previous posts, but here they are so you can check them out with 0.1 first. They seem to be working for me.

I don't have a lot of data in my EPG grabber so I had to use test data and I may have missed some things. As I said, I will change the design to match what Joz is doing and anything else you might suggest.

Hi Dadeo, the files are good for me too. TVGuide and search are fully readable now. Let's use these files, maybe we'll find out other things to improve..
