Sebastiii: I've tried your patch but can't start the movie with it. After selecting one of the 8 playlists the screen flashes and brings me back to the video menu. Log fails at:

Which is strange since I didn't add ffdshow audio anywhere and I don't even have PowerDVD installed.

Did you test recently with BDHandler, some BD doesn't show up all playlist because an option was set by default (Playlist that contain loops) it seems that happen with BBC BD seamless, i try by disable this options and it seems to work but i'm not @ home so the test is hard lol.

Yes, I tried your patch and it works the same way as armand's 0.9.3.18. I see 8 playlists but the movie plays normally.
Can I somehow manually browse the playlists to see why there's 8 instead of 1?

Can you pm me all directory except stream directory ?
Otherwise the plugin is based on BDINFO software, you can use it to see if the detection is good.

1st thanks for your patch.
I still got problems with playback of "Léon Ultimate Edition" our version.
I get 2 menu enties to choose from, if i select the 2nd one i see the start of the movie for 1 second sometimes.

Maybe its a problem with my codec setup i am using latest SAF 4.0.
Any advice for me to help you to improve the plugin.

Hi,

installed 0.9.3.18 (BETA) and it worked immediately. Both through MyVideos and selecting the "index" file as well going via Moving Pictures.

Tonight I will run a full fledged user experience test and watch a full movie under women's supervision. Will report back if anything pops up.

Quick system spec (full on the left side):

Server: MS WHS, Asus M2AVM, Athlon 3800+, 2 GB RAM
Client: Zotac GF9300, Intel E3200, 2 GB RAM, video codec MPC-HC
Network: wired GbE
A/V: Sanyo PLV-Z5 on 720p/50 Hz, Yamaha YSP-4000,

To share a few observations:

- Overall no issues that I would contribute to Bluray Handler
- In my client server setup, if there are HDD operations on the server which are a bit more significant (e.g. a backup running), Bluray playback stutters. This is absolutely reproducable. Without having analyzed this further, I would suspect that it is the slow harddrives that's the bottleneck.
- The time line at the bottom of the screen is brocken. However I have this with live TV as well. Don't know whether it's skin related or s.th. else, I decided not to be bothered anyway.

Hi, it seems to be related to codec issue maybe audio codec, i have see that sometime the movie start and closed itself and often related to audio side.

if you can try to open .m2ts in graphstudio to see if all start to play correctly or not.

Hi Sebastiii,
the problem with opening and instantly closing video I noticed on my systems too.
The movie played on my client but not on my server. Both are running MP 1.1.0, SAF 4.0 and your version of BR Handler.
On my client graphstudio builds a graph including audio, on my server not.
What do you think could be a solution? I tried SAF 5.0 and it did not work too.

If I find a solution, i will post.

I have the same problem when using ffdshow as audio decoder. It was discussed earlier in this thread. ffdshow doesn't seem to be able to decode the DTS Core track from DTS-HD MA. The solution is to use MPC - MPA Decoder Filter instead.

i think my avatar bluray have the DTS-HD MA, no problem here with ffdshow from saf 5.00.

im using the MPC - MPA audio decoder for blurays also...all good here =)
