Well Directshow only supports x86 (32bit) even if your running Win 64. Mediaportal is only and probably will only ever be a 32 bit application because of this. I tried a test build of MP as 64bit back in the frodo days(he made an x64 bit build of MP for me and it didnt work). LOL..so anyway..what that all means is that x86 (32bit) is the best we will ever see as long as DirectShow is 32bit.

I cant really see it change for any reason even 10 years into the future.

    Just a question:
I have MP 1.2.0 Beta, latest Bluray Handler and LAV installed and it works great so far,
but only when I go into Video Section -> Optical Drive and start index.bdmv.

It doesn't work with autoplay or even Play Disc button!

    Am I the only one?:(

It did work with MP 1.1.2 and MPC-Splitter.

same here...it might be an issue with compatability with BD Handler as it worked fine before the 1.20 beta update.

You're not the only one! bdhandler works fine but autoplay doesn't.

I use SAF 6 and the 1.2 Beta, too

Yeah by me to. I've been wondering. Problems thought to have been only back at me but now I'm relieved. Is this due to the beta or on the BD Handler ?

I use DVDFab Passkey place a BD (Iron Man, works great in the alpha) and nothing happend. When i click on the dvd menu button on my mce nothing happens, for one sec an blackscreen and then jumps back to the home basic menu. I musst go to video on my bd drive and start it from index.bdmv I use the streamedmp skin, maybe the info helps too.But i don't think so.

This happens to me too. Running latest SVN of SAF 6.0 (110506), MP 1.2.0 Beta and DVDFab Passkey. All works if I go to the index.bdmv but that is the only way. :)

    Hi Sebastiii,

same for me, too. Could this be related to this bug regarding playing music CDs: 0003497: Play disc shortcut no-longer works for CDs - MediaPortal Bugtracker

What I did is: start MP, insert BD ==> nothing happened. Pressed Play CD/DVD ==> Screen changed but came back to basic home immediately. Log shows:
